Winter Solstice, celebrating with friends and a dip in the sea as we watched the sunrise. Memorable and special.
Much better than Christmas shopping! Great way to escape, re-charge and re-set the body, mind and spirit. Not to mention the fun and laughs with the best bunch of swim buddies! I feel very lucky to be alive and experience the after buzz of cold water swimming. Hard to beat it!!

Great swim in Blackrock. A rare and beautiful morning. The sea was a gentle powdery blue with the sun rays glistening like stars on its surface.
Great to be alive. I’m just back from Greece and so enjoyed that first bodily shock when the cold water hits! Madness and magic in one!
Pausing.listening. Seeing and sensing the moment. Then heading in for a swim. Simple. Beautiful. Enough.

What a morning! Swimmers, walkers and all sorts out enjoying themselves. Have a good one.
Water still warm but it feels as if winter has arrived early. Not much swimming, only dips in the safety of Blackrock Tower. It’s strange to see the changing areas quiet after the buzz of the summer crowds. Being mindful! Just going with the flow!
Just returned from a fantastic cycling trip in Donegal. Incredible scenery, remote rugged beauty, craic and laughs with locals, and a sense of adventure every day as we cycled up a different hill!
Great week spent in the outdoors in the untamed, wilderness of South West Donegal. Loved every minute of it!

Just home from our Saturday morning swim at The Big Beach in Salthill. Great exhilaration as we jumped and danced in the waves, dived under some of the bigger rolling waves, and generally let off stream and had a laugh. The sheer freedom of spirit that the waves offer, we become children again. We even had a competition to see who could do hand stands in the water. Michelle you win. Hands down every time. Thanks to Joe and Dermot for having the vision and inspiration to form this group and to give us a shared space for fun and companionship every Saturday morning.
Coffee lasted for hours today as we all caught up on the summer holidays news from everyone. So appreciative to everyone and our beautiful ocean.
