💬 Bullying can affect children’s confidence, friendships, and emotional wellbeing — but parents can play a powerful role in prevention and support.

Join NPC’s 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗶-𝗕𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 this November to:
• Understand how to support your child if they experience bullying.
• Learn what schools are required to do under the 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗶-𝗕𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀.
• Build confidence in recognising and responding to bullying behaviour.

Welcome back to school Coffee Morning hosted by the KETNS Parents Association in SCCUL Sanctuary.

The Additional Needs Network will be meeting again on Wednesday 19th March just after school drop off at Roots Cafe in Kilcolgan. This is a casual coffee morning to meet and chat. This group provides peer support with a WhatsApp group and meet-ups. We are inviting anyone who would like to be part of the group to drop us an email to [email protected] with your name, email address and contact number. The group is open to all members of the school community, whether you are a parent/guardian of a child with additional needs, in the process of getting a diagnosis for your child, or if you have a particular interest/experience of neurodiversity and additional needs and are happy to share your expertise with the group, we would be delighted to hear from you too.

REMINDER for tomorrow:
To celebrate Neurodiversity Week, the Student Council are holding a Sensory Friendly Wednesday on the 19th March. This is a day when everyone (staff too!) are encouraged to wear sensory-sensitive clothes; it's all about being comfy, wearing soft and cosy clothing (for example, pyjamas and fluffy socks, whatever someone finds comfortable to wear). Teachers are also encouraged to have some time in the classroom that day that is less stimulating - for example low lighting, and low noise levels.
