3rd class in Scoil Bhríde, Shantalla have been busy creating a replica of Claddagh village from 100 years ago. We made the cottages out of clay, added thread to make the thatch roofs, painted them and used an old map to try and position the village as it would have been in the past.
We then added in the Quays, as they are today, and some features to show the river. Next we’re going to make some boats to add in.
