Open 9am to 12.30pm Clonkeen Montessori School opened its doors in 1995.

Since then there has been a constant demand on places. All teachers are passionate about the Montessori method of teaching. Children are taught using the materials designed by Dr. Maria Montessori. The children are presented this beautiful, educational material individually according to the child's age and ability. The children experience a wonderful sensory experience while learning. Subjects cov

ered include Practical life, sensorial, cultural, arithmetic, language oral & written, Art and Crafts, group lessons and circle time. Clonkeen Montessori School is a happy, caring and friendly environment. Children leaving the school are confident, happy and independent making the transition into primary school a good experience. The key to having a successful Montessori school is having highly qualified, experienced Montessori teachers. All teachers are first aid trained and Garda vetted. Clonkeen Montessori is Tusla registered school. ECCE places are available for children who qualify for the scheme.
