Ms O’Keeffe’s class were busy doing lots of learning this week based on the book “The Very Hungry Caterpillar”!

At the end of their unit of learning, Ms O’Keeffe arrived into the classroom with a big bag of delicious food for the children to try - more than enough food to make the very hungry caterpillar very jealous of such a great indoor picnic! ❤️🍰🍪🍓🍩

Thank you, Ms O’Keeffe, for always bringing learning to life! We really do have the best teachers in Ireland❤️🥰

🎶A huge thank you to Ms O’Keeffe who was awarded a grant to bring weekly music therapy to our special classes! ❤️It is wonderful to watch the joy in the classroom as the children sing, dance and communicate through music. 🎶

Ms Molloy’s class had a great time working on their gymnastics skills in the sunshine! A huge thank you to Ms Daly’s class, who were amazing helpers to their younger peers. 🎉

Ms Kelly’s class never fails to impress us with their creativity! These unique interpretations of Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa have really brightened up the corridor!

The boys and girls in Ms O’Keeffe’s class have been very busy learning all about what doctors do! They were very busy dealing with all their patients this week!

Ms Molloy’s class always do such impressive work in Irish! From poetry and songs to reading and writing, the boys and girls in Seomra Gorm are amazing!

Junior Infants have been learning all about heavy and light this week! Great job!

Together with Better Finglas, Finglas West Family Resource Centre are delighted to let you all know they will be running the Parents Plus Special Needs Parenting Programme.

This 7 week Parenting Programme starts on Wednesday 29th April at 10am in Finglas West Family Resource Centre (D11NHF4)

The Parents Plus Special Needs Programme is suitable for parents who are raising a child with a mild, moderate or severe intellectual disability, and who might have additional support needs such as Autism or a physical disability.

Further 36 special classes to open in mainstream schools An additional 36 special classes have been sanctioned to open in mainstream schools from this coming September.

A huge well done to our special class parents who will appear on RTE News this evening as they continue to fight for the opening of the new classrooms they were promised in September 2025.
