A Final Farewell

Sadly, Killusty School will close its doors for the last time on August 31st 2026.

A School Closure Mass will take place at 10am, on Sunday 9th of August 2026 in Sacred Heart Church Killusty.

Light refreshments afterwards in the school.

School Tour
On Thursday the 4th of June we travelled to Tramore for our annual school tour. We started with a hearty breakfast which was followed by a competitive game of crazy golf. Next up was Dooley's famous fish and chips and a fun half hour in the indoor arcades. This was followed by spins and twirls on the outdoor merries. Sports Day
We enjoyed a wonderful day of sporting activities on May 29th. We travelled to Slievenamon Golf Club for a morning of mythical pitch and putt, go-carting, obstacle course challenges and foot golf. And of course a tasty lunch! This was followed by an enjoyable hour in St Patrick's Well, Clonmel. The sun shone to boot and the day was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Le Francais et Moi!
Over the last few months Killusty School participated in the Say Yes to Languages Programme. Lisa, our expert tutor, guided us on our introduction to Modern Languages learning. As part of this initiative we discovered lots of interesting facts about France and had tonnes of fun learning a little of the French language. Outdoor History Day
On May 8th we took History outside the classroom and ventured over to Cahir where we were treated to a tour of Swiss Cottage and Cahir Castle. We even made friends with the local geese during our picnic lunch. Some very pleasant weather and a lot of healthy exercise to boot. A great day.
