We were treated to a wonderful concert in the cathedral today as the children from the St. Edan’s School Choir performed a selection of beautiful songs during a church service celebrated by Canon Nicola Halford. We are so proud of all the children and thoroughly enjoyed their beautiful performance. 🎶

A huge thank you to Ann, our choirmaster, and to Fiona for all their organisation, dedication and hard work in making it all happen. We would also like to thank Canon Nicola for taking the time to join us today and for making our service so special. ❤️

We look forward to seeing what the choir has in store for the new school year! 🎶

We were delighted to welcome The Irish School of DIY to St. Edan’s this week. 4th, 5th and 6th class learned all about wood, power tools and how to make a number of handy items that would be helpful around the home. The children thoroughly enjoyed the experience and we couldn’t rate them highly enough!! Thank you to the fundraising efforts of the Parents Association and support of the parents for making this happen. 🔨🔧🧰🪚

St. Edan’s School set off on a journey to Dublin Zoo this morning. The sun was shining, the bags were packed and the energy levels were high. We had a great day of exploration, play and adventure as we made our way through the zoo. The children and staff members had a ball and made lots of memories. ❤️

Today we travelled to Curracloe for the annual Diocesan Soccer Blitz hosted by St. Iberius School and what a day it was! ⚽️🥅

There was superb teamwork, skill and enthusiasm on display from both rooms throughout the day. We were so proud of each and every one of our pupils.

To top it all off, we brought home not one, but two plaques as winners of both the Junior Room group and the Senior Room group. Well done everyone!

It was wonderful to see so many parents there supporting and cheering on the teams. Thank you for joining us and helping to make the day so special.

A huge thank you to Mike Muir for volunteering to referee today. It’s no easy task, but you did a fantastic job and we really appreciate your time and support.

Finally, thank you to all of the staff members for coaching the teams so well and for instilling fairness, cooperation and teamwork in all of our players. And of course, thank you to St. Iberius School for hosting the wonderful event.

What a wonderful day for our school community! ⚽️
