Shining stars went to the Fermoy town Library last week for Water Safety Week. We learned lots about holding hands and being safe near water. Thanks to Caroline and the staff at the Library 📚

Last week the ‘Stay and Play’ group washed Siobhan’s car and it was so dusty!! It was so much fun 🤩 and the children loved getting stuck in with the sponges bubbles and finally the hose.

We had our second school tour yesterday with our class from Presentation and our afternoon session. Again we went to Leahys Open Farm and the weather stayed good for the whole trip. ⛅️🌤️

Yesterday two of our morning preschool classes travelled to Leahys Open Farm for our first of two school tours.
We had the most amazing day and the weather was perfect ☀️
The children explored the maze and rang the bell in the middle, had so much fun coming down a tunnel slide, and got a spin in the train. We met big animals and small ones - got to touch a snake (if they wanted to 😳) and pet the softest rabbits and guinnea pigs and fed llamas and calves.
We all said it was a fantastic day out and it wasn’t only the children who were exhausted on the bus home. Thanks to Tom from Coaches as for some children, the bus was the highlight of the day 😊
Looking forward to doing it again next week 🙌🏻

Last week we had a very special visit from the Fermoy Fire Brigade. This is the first time in all the years that we have a parent of one of our children who is a firefighter. So it was extra special for Joey. Thanks so much to for coming to visit. The children really enjoyed the whole experience.
