Our biggest priorities are the children's health and wellbeing, their learning, and to ensure they have LOTS OF FUN!

At Jollytots we strive to build partnerships with our parents each year and to increase the involvement of our community in our curriculum. With this in mind & following the lead of our children this year, we organised professionals week last week and we reached out to our families and friends to help us.

Special thanks to everyone who visited to chat to our children about their different jobs and roles. Thank you to Sheila Browne Jacinta McCormack Kevin McCormack Dane (our community Garda), Elaine, Pauline Hyland Janice, Monica, Mary & Edyta and Rithu. The children thoroughly enjoyed every minute.

Happy New Year to all our families and friends! I think we all chose a very appropriate Winter theme for our first week back after the holidays. The children are loving it and are well prepared for the snow we are promised tomorrow even if us grown ups are not 🙈

Wow what a busy month we have had this December. We've had loads of fun doing arts and crafts and Christmas tuff trays and even had a visit from the 'big' man himself. To top off a great month, we had a lovely trip to St Joseph's Primary School. The children sang to us and did an art activity with our children. We loved meeting our old friends from Jollytots too.

We've had a really busy week this week at Jollytots. As it is Irish Road Safety awareness week this week and Beep Beep Day today, we have been learning all about road safety and how to safely cross the road. Garda Dane Murphy our community garda came to visit us to talk to us about road safety and we walked up to Ger the lollipop man who helps children to cross the road every day nearby our school. The children were delighted to practice all we have learnt with him. Thanks to Ger and Garda Dane for making time for the children, we do appreciate it

It's back to school week this week and we've messaged all our parents regarding our return date. We're looking forward to seeing all our returning children after the summer holidays and meeting our new children and families too.

Our graduates are all starting their new schools this week too. We hope you all have a super time with your new friends and teachers. We can't wait to hear all about it 🥰
