Well done Margaret from everyone at the Centre for Smart Ageing🎉🎉🎉🎉

🎉 A Massive Congratulations to Margaret! 🎉

I’m absolutely thrilled to share that Margaret McGrath — my own amazing mother — has officially become a fully qualified Gym Instructor this week after successfully passing her final assessment in Dublin! 💪

I couldn’t be prouder to have her officially joining The Sequel Way team, assisting with the day-to-day operations and bringing an incredible 33 years of experience from her time in the HSE.

Margaret has dedicated:
• 🩺 29 years as a Health Care Assistant, and
• 🧠 The last 4 years as a Rehabilitation & Physiotherapy Assistant.

Her knowledge, compassion and commitment to helping others will play a vital role in the ongoing development of our Adapted Physical Activity Programme — a key part of The Sequel Way’s mission to make exercise accessible to everyone.

This is yet another exciting step in our journey and I couldn’t be more excited to have her on board. 💙

Today our 4th year inclusive sport and physical activity students visited past graduate Ethan McGrath's business in Farranfore to learn more about setting up your own business. We were very impressed with the range of inclusive classes and targeted training options on offer at The Sequel Way

Our Parkinson’s Support Group is resuming next week:

Monday, 20th January at 4pm: Physical activity classes
Friday, 24th January at 4pm: Tailored physiotherapy rehabilitation programmes
If you’d like to be assessed by our physiotherapist, please get in touch. Once assessed, you’ll have the option to join the tailored rehabilitation class every Friday to work on your personalised programme.

Many participants combine the physical activity class on Monday with the tailored physiotherapy class on Friday, and they’ve experienced fantastic results. No matter your ability, all aspects of our classes and programmes can be adapted to your individual needs.

Our mission is simple: to help people with Parkinson’s move better, feel better, and create a supportive community where we can all thrive together.
