*Day 5 Summer Camp*
On our final day we had Thomas Cuffe from Heritage in Schools learning all about birds.
We went outside and did some bird watching and afterwards drew our favourites.
As per tradition, Eyrecourt NS Summer Camp ended with a monster water fight. 🔫 💦 🔫

*Day 3 Summer Camp*
Today started with some fitness with Sharon from Coral Leisure Ballinasloe and then we restored all those calories with our baking and pizza making!
We had a giant quiz in the hall which tested how well we know everyone in our school. Lots of fun and games in between and the 3D printer is working away in the background printing all our designs!

We had hip hop dancing with Kathy in the hall. Back at the school we had fun with the Boom whackers, STEM and Maths Trails.
The 3D printer went into overdrive today with the middle and junior groups.

*Day 1 of Summer Camp*
As we are a DEIS Rural school we provide a free summer camp for pupils.
Today our activities included designing pencil cases, constructing castles in STEM with working drawbridges, learning and playing Ultimate Frisbee.
The senior group had their turn on the 3D printer today. They designed keyrings on the Tinkercad software.
Lots of fun, teamwork and creativity and it's only day 1!

On our school tour this year we visited Craggaunowen and Bunratty. We fitted in a lot in one day and of course made time for a great playground.

We had a very fun game of Seniors vs Staff. We would love to say that we let them win for their morale but it was clear that the senior room are a great team and won easily despite all our best efforts!
