Today saw the end of the World Cadets Championship and the end of Mateos adventure for now!!! After enjoying the wonderful city of Batumi and the experience of a world championship event he is now beginning the trek home. A fantastic ambassador for club and country and so with many congratulations we all look forward to the smiles and the stories when he returns!!!

Another great result for Mateo Plaza Reino who drew with a player 550 points higher rated on Monday and is 2.5/3 in the last 3 rounds. Tuesday was an off day so Mateo and Danya will be refreshed going into round 7 of the FIDE World Cadets Championship 2016 today in Batumi, Adjara, Georgia.
