As an early years service, we know how important early intervention and timely access to supports can be for young children and their families.
Every child deserves the opportunity to reach their potential, and families should not have to face long waits or feel that they are navigating their child’s needs alone. When children receive the right support at the right time, it can make a meaningful difference to their development, wellbeing, participation and confidence — while also providing much-needed support and reassurance for families.
We stand alongside the many children and families who are waiting for essential supports. Their needs cannot wait.
We recognise the concerns being highlighted through this Protest and the call for improved access to services for children and families.

We hope that the voices of children, parents, carers and those working with young children continue to be heard, and that timely, accessible and appropriate supports become available to every child who needs them.
