💫Your child won’t need to know everything.
And maybe our job as parents isn’t to fill their minds with more and more information.

Maybe it’s to help them learn what to do with what they already know.

💫To think critically, rather than simply believe everything they hear.
💫To stay curious and ask questions, rather than repeat someone else’s answers.
💫To discover what truly matters to them and find meaning in a world overflowing with information.

But even more than that, they will need to know themselves.
To understand their strengths, their emotions and their boundaries.
To notice the feelings and needs of others.
To grow with empathy, courage and kindness — and to remain deeply human in a world that is changing faster than we can imagine.

Because one day, knowledge will be everywhere.

What will matter is not simply how much our children know, but how they think. How they recognise truth from falsehood. How they treat others. What they choose when no one is watching. And who they choose to become.

Perhaps that is one of the greatest gifts we can give our children:
Not all the answers, but the inner compass to find their own way.

💫Because in the end, it isn’t our words that show our children who we are. It’s the choices we make, the love we give, and the way we live — every single day.

And that is where their learning truly begins.

Hey, I recently came across something priceless, completely ''by chance''...

Have you heard of Dúchas?

If not – keep reading. Out of respect for your roots...

Once again, I discovered that Ireland is a country where the past seems never to have completely left the present. It lives on in the music, in place names, in old stone walls, in stories of fairies, in legends, and in tales passed down by the fireside from one generation to the next.

And it is there – in Irish folklore – that I believe we can discover a very genuine part of the soul of the nation. 🇮🇪
Because folklore is not simply a collection of curious stories from the past.
It is the memory of a people. And perhaps even something more...

🍀 A nation that preserves its stories preserves a part of its soul.

Within folklore live the fears and hopes of the people, their relationship with nature, their understanding of good and evil, their reverence for the unseen, and the way they understood life, death, and the world around them.

🧚‍♀️And fairy tales… they are something even more special.

At first glance, a fairy tale may tell us about fairies, enchanted places, strange creatures, or unexplained events. But sometimes, behind the magic, something much deeper is hidden.
Many fairy tales hold truths about human nature, the natural world, and life itself – truths that reveal themselves only to those who are ready to see them.
Perhaps that is why the old stories should never be forgotten, and one of the most valuable things a nation can do is return to them, pass them on, and learn from them. To understand who they are, where they come from, and what their ancestors considered important enough to pass down to future generations.

🍀📖✨In this respect, Dúchas – the National Folklore Collection of Ireland plays a vital role in keeping the memory of Irish folklore alive.

It preserves hundreds of thousands of pages of collective memory – stories, beliefs, customs, legends, and recollections gathered from the people themselves.

And I would love to begin opening some of these old doors…

✨To search for the stories.

✨To discover the places.

✨To listen to what those who came before us were trying to tell us.

And above all – not to allow the thread connecting generations to be broken.
Because sometimes, in order to understand where we are going, we must first remember where we came from...

This question inspired me to write a brand-new fairy story for Fairy School. 🧚‍♀️

In a world full of noise, busy schedules, and endless distractions, perhaps what our children need most is not more toys, clothes, or things...

Perhaps they need more of us.

A warm hug.
A shared story.
A few magical minutes together.

Because years from now, children may not remember every gift they received, but they will remember how they felt with us.

Loved.
Seen.
Heard.
Valued.
Safe.

And those feelings will become part of who they are.

Because even in the most noble and privileged families there are people who make other people’s lives difficult… and vice versa.✨️

✨️Sometimes, in films, great truths are spoken — but only if you have the eyes to see them and the heart to truly feel and understand them. Like "Ratatouille", which inspired me to remind you of this:

Life is a priceless gift — but to live it well, you need a standard for what truly matters to you.
Mine is one simple word: purity.

When you carry purity within you, you instantly recognize it in others — and it protects you from what is not good for you.

Pure people don’t lie, manipulate, or betray trust. Being around them feels effortless, like music.
The same applies to their thoughts, words and actions.

When you are pure, envy, resentment and judgment fall away — and everything you do becomes an act of love and service.

If you take the sense of purity as your measure — for the people you let in, the work you choose, the life you build — you will grow into your highest self. Only then will you be able to give your best and receive the best from others and from life itself.

As Remy senses it in Ratatouille:
“So pure that it is almost divine.”

I think purity is a worthy measure of life.

💫🧚‍♀️💫The harp of the past… and the harp of today.Can you feel the difference?

Once, music was born from the heart —
from pain, from joy, from the soul,
from everything a person felt and longed to express.

Today, we can create beautiful music in seconds.
Perfectly arranged sounds.
But… somehow they don’t touch us deeply.
Beautiful sound doesn’t always mean something real.

💫And what is real… is always felt.

Today, we have artificial intelligence and the temptation is strong to let it create instead of us.

But it is only a technology.

And technology is not a creator.
It is a tool.

The true creator has always been within us.

Because the greatest joy for a creator
is to express themselves —
their feelings, their truth —
through every possible form:
words, colours, music, hands, dance, sculpture…

💫The goal is not to create something merely perfect or beautiful.
The goal is to express something true through art.
That is what has meaning.
That is what matters.
That is the only thing that truly touches people’s hearts and has the power to transform.

That is why it lasts forever…
like the flame of the truth.
