☘️A *potential* new service being offered! ☘️

We are gathering interest of those who want to participate in an 8 week Irish language course.

This is a group class where you would go back to the basics and aim to learn Irish in a casual and conversational way with peers.

We have received some enquiries about this service before and we are looking to try make it happen.

You will learn some basic grammar and how to speak Irish on a day to day basis. In order for this to be beneficial to all, class groups would be capped at groups of 10 for 8 weeks based in Portlaoise

The price is to be confirmed, but it is envisaged to be about €50 pp for the 8 sessions (1 hour per session)

Reservations for Grinds are now open for academic year 2024/25, beginning in early September.

Grinds available include:
Junior cycle:
- Gaeilge (Ard & Gnáthleibhéal - T1 agus T2)
- Science

Leaving Certificate:
- Gaeilge (Ard & Gnáthleibhéal)
- Biology (Higher & Ordinary)
- Chemistry (Higher & Ordinary)
- Physical Education (Higher & Ordinary)

All sessions are 1-to-1 based on availability, or unless requested otherwise (pairs/groups if preferred). The aim of these sessions is exam-focus and to prepare the student to with the skills and knowledge to tackle any question on the paper, expected or unexpected. Each session comes with distinction/H1 level sample answers to help with revision.

Please reserve early, slots filled up very quickly last year and are very limited already this year.

1 hour slot has become available on a Saturday for grinds of choice (JC/ LC Irish, LC Biology, JC Science, LCPE). Based in an educational centre in Portlaoise.

Ideal for students in exam years to prepare for state exams after mocks.
