Bunaíodh Gaelscoil Éadan Doire i 2008 le 21 páiste agus beirt mhúinteoir. Ba chúis mhór áthais agus bród a bhí ann ar an gcéad lá de mhí Mheán Fómhair nuair a osclaíodh doirse na scoile don chéad uair. Is de bharr dílseacht agus dian oibre an choiste bhunaithe a tharla sé sin agus beidh páistí, tuismitheoirí agus foireann na scoile i gconaí buíoch do na daoine seo. Táimid ar fad, páistí,

tuismitheoirí, foireann na scoile agus an bord bainistíochta thar a bheith bródúil as ár scoil. Tá an-obair ar siúl istigh agus é ar fad déanta trí mheán na Gaeilge agus cloistear scoth na Gaeilge pé áit ina mbíonn muintir na scoile. Ba mhaith linn fáilte a chur romhaibh chuig ár leathanach faceboon na scoile agus tá súil againn go mbainfidh sibh sult as agus go bhfoghlaimeoidh sibh beagán faoi ár scoil. Welcome,

Gaelscoil Éadan Doire was founded in 2008 with 21 children and two teachers. The opening of the school doors for the very first time on the first of September proved to be a very joyous and proud occasion for everyone involved. It was due to the loyalty and all the hard work of the founding committee that this day became a reality and the children, parents and school staff will be forever grateful to this small group of people. Everyone including children, parents, staff and the board of management are extremely proud of our school. There is a tremendous amount of work being carried out within the school and it all happens through the medium of Irish. The Irish language is heard wherever the school community happens to be. We would like to welcome you all to our school page and we hope you both enjoy it and learn a little bit about our school.

D’éag Claire Jackson, duine álainn de chuid tuismitheoirí sin againne tráthnóna an séú lá Samhain. Déanamís comhbhrón ó chroí lena cuid clann mhac Christopher & Patrick, lena páistí eile Seán, Brendan & Chelsea chomh maith lena máthair, beirt deartháir & beirt deirfiúr.

Our school community, management & staff express our heartfelt condolences to our own Christopher & Patrick who so sadly lost their dear mother, Claire, on Thursday evening. We wish also to sympathise with sons Seán and Brendan, daughter Chelsea, mother Vicky, brothers, sisters and all family & friends.

We very proud of our former colleague Eamon de Staic who has today arrived in Copenhagen from Paris by bicycle to raise much needed funds for aid in the stricken Palestine & Gaza regions. Eamon arrives on time to add his voice to an appeal to world leaders meeting in Copenhagen.
