A huge thank you to our children, families and small but mighty team who got involved in our Superhero Day fundraiser for the LauraLynn Foundation last week!

Thanks to your incredible generosity, we raised a whopping €335! ✨

We are so proud of our Little Minds community. Every donation, costume and act of support helped make a difference to an amazing cause.

Thank you for always getting behind the initiatives we run and showing our children the importance of kindness, compassion and helping others.

What a truly special month we’ve had at Little Minds — filled with celebration, community spirit, exciting visitors, hands-on learning and so many proud little moments 💛

🏆 We are incredibly proud to share that we have been shortlisted for 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫! ✨
🦸‍♀️ We held Superhero Day in aid of the LauraLynn Foundation and raised €335 — thank you to all our families for your amazing support 💛
🎓 We celebrated some of our Graduation — a very special milestone filled with pride, joy and happy memories
📚 We had a lovely visit from the Librarian, who spoke to the children starting school in September and presented them with their special school starter packs
🏅 We enjoyed our very own Sports Day, full of teamwork, laughter and energy — and made delicious homemade lemonade to cool down
🪖 We had a special visit from Dawn from the Army and took part in a fun obstacle course experience
✈️ A pilot came to visit and we transformed our space into a busy airport, bringing travel and imagination to life
🦷 We had a visit from the Dental Hygienist and created our very own Dentist Clinic and Waiting Room, even receiving goodie bags to take home
🎶 We celebrated Nursery Rhymes Week, bringing songs and stories to life through play
🍕 We explored Italy and tried delicious pizza as part of our cultural learning
🌱 We tended to our garden and continue to love watching everything grow and change
🐦 We went bird spotting and celebrated International Bee Day, learning all about nature and pollinators
🐓 We fed our chickens as part of our daily care and responsibility routines
🌿 We made the most of the brighter weather with plenty of outdoor play, exploration and fresh air
⚽🩰 Our weekly Playball and Ballet classes kept us active, building confidence, coordination and teamwork

A month full of curiosity, creativity, achievement and community, just the way we love it at Little Minds 🌼

🏅☀️ SPORTS DAY FUN ☀️🏅

What an AMAZING day we had celebrating Sports Day today 💫🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

The children had so much fun taking part in races, running games, team activities and cheering on their friends throughout the day 😄🎉🌈

To cool down after all the excitement, we made our very own homemade lemonade 🍋🥤, enjoyed a summer disco full of dancing and songs 💃🕺☀️ and finished the day with yummy ice cream 🍦✨

There were smiles, laughter, determination and LOTS of excitement from start to finish 💪🏅💛

We were so proud of all our little athletes for trying their best, encouraging one another and showing fantastic teamwork and sportsmanship 🌟👏

A huge WELL DONE to all of our little sports stars ⭐ You were absolutely brilliant today! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️💫

🦷✨ A WEEK FULL OF SMILES ✨🦷

This week our theme was all about Dental Hygiene 😁🪥

Today we were so lucky to have two wonderful Dental Hygienists, both named Sinead, visit the children to teach them all about how to correctly brush and care for their teeth 🦷✨ The children loved learning all about healthy smiles and even got to bring home their own goodie bags 🎁🪥💛

Throughout the week we explored dental hygiene through lots of fun, hands-on activities ✨

🪥 Set up our very own dentist surgery and waiting room
🦷 Practised brushing and flossing
🥤 Learned all about the sugar hiding in drinks
🦠 Fought the germs through sensory play
☁️ Made our own teeth using cotton wool and crafts

The children had SO much fun while learning important life skills through play 💫😁✨

Today our little superheroes arrived ready to save the day and WOW did they bring the magic ✨⚡💫

From Spider-Man and Batman to princess superheroes and tiny caped crusaders, our preschool was bursting with colour, excitement, imagination and FUN 🕷️🌈🦸‍♀️🚀

The children had an action-packed morning filled with superhero adventures, games, dancing, crafts, role play and lots of smiles 💥✨💛

𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗿𝗮 𝗟𝘆𝗻𝗻 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 💛 Which provides incredible care, support and comfort to children with life-limiting conditions and their families all across Ireland, and we are so proud that our little heroes could play a small part in supporting such an amazing cause 🌟🥹

Today reminded us that superheroes don’t always wear capes… sometimes they’re only little 💫🦸‍♂️💛

We celebrated International Bee Day 🐝💛

What a fantastic day of learning, creativity, and hands-on play!
We started by making our own playdough and used it to design and build our very own bees 🐝✨ There was lots of imagination and fine motor fun as the children brought their ideas to life.

We explored the life cycle of a bee in a simple, engaging way and chatted about just how important bees are for flowers, food, and our world 🌼

Then we got moving and became a buzzing hive ourselves 🐝💨flitting, flying, and working together just like real bees!

We also enjoyed a delicious bowl of porridge topped with honey 🍯 (a big hit!) before finishing the day by creating beautiful honeycomb artwork, focusing on patterns and teamwork 🟡🍯

A truly joyful day of play-based learning, curiosity, and discovery 💛

Watching our graduates learn, grow, make friendships and create so many special memories has been such a privilege. They’ve filled Little Minds with laughter, curiosity and joy, and we are so proud of each and every one of them.

A special chapter comes to an end as exciting new adventures begin 💛

Yesterday we explored Italy 🇮🇹

The children spent the day taking part in fun learning-based activities inspired by Italy, before our Little Minds chefs got hands on making their very own homemade pizzas 🍕

Busy little chefs at work and the smell of fresh pizza filling the room, it really did feel like we had been transported to Italy for the day.
