🌹✨ The Rose of Little Minds! ✨🌹

This week, we had our very own Rose of Tralee right here at Little Minds! 💕🌹

The Rose of Little Minds was a week where all things fashion were taken to the next level! 👗✨ With a fabulous variety of styles to choose from, our little Roses got to handpick their perfect outfit before taking to the catwalk and showing off their individual style. 💃🕺

🌸 The sky was the limit! 🌸

From fabulous outfits and confident catwalks to plenty of smiles, giggles and dancing, our Roses certainly knew how to put on a show! And, of course, no Rose of Little Minds would be complete without hitting the dance floor for a very special dance party! 🎶💃✨

What a fabulous week of fashion, fun and letting our little personalities shine! 🌹💕✨

🦖🌋 And that’s a wrap on our Dino Week! 🌋🦕

We’ve had a ROARsome week full of exploring, creating, discovering and lots of dinosaur fun! 🦖✨

We focused on developing fine motor skills, hand eye coordination, hand strength and cognitive focus as the children carefully removed tape to rescue our trapped dinosaurs. 👐🦕

Our dinosaur sensory experiences brought lots of opportunities for digging, scooping and exploring, while sparking imaginative storytelling and encouraging the children to expand their vocabulary through roaring, describing and creating their own dinosaur adventures! 🌱🦖

We even created our very own lava turf tray using spaghetti, soil, sand and, of course, our favourite dinosaurs! 🌋🌿

After all our exploring and creativity, we settled down with a fantastic dinosaur pop up book, bringing our Dino Week to a lovely end. 📖🦕

What a ROARsome week! 🦖💚✨

♻️ Recycling Week at Little Minds ♻️

What a fun week we had exploring all things recycling! 🌎✨

The laughter was uncontrollable when Bluey the sock puppet came to play. The children had so much fun while learning about the importance of recycling and caring for our planet 🧦💙

We enjoyed a hands on learning activity where we ripped up recycling items and used them to create our very own recycling robot. We sang along to our recycling song and even gave our robot a name… Missy the Robot! 🤖

We also made our own robot faces and enjoyed sorting different items into recycling categories, learning what belongs where.

In the Wobbler Room, we got creative with a recycling painting activity. Using recycled items as our painting tools, we explored colours and textures while enjoying the lovely sunshine outdoors. ☀️ Mixing colours was so much fun, and the best part is we will soon have our very own flower boxes to enjoy! 🌸

A week full of creativity, imagination and learning through play! ♻️✨

✨ Can you tell we're happy to be back? ✨

Our week has been filled with smiling faces, happy reunions and lots of laughter as the children settled back into school and caught up with their friends. ❤️

We've loved spending our days exploring outdoors, enjoying sensory play and simply being together again. There's nothing better than hearing the classroom full of chatter, giggles and excitement as friendships pick up right where they left off.

It's been a wonderful first week back, and we're so happy to have everyone together again. 🥰

Working hours:
🕘 Monday to Friday
🕘 9:00am – 2:00pm (25 hours per week)

In this role, you will:

✨ Cover staff breaks, lunches and annual leave
✨ Help maintain adult to child ratios
✨ Support children's daily care routines
✨ Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues

What a lovely week we’ve had filled with fun, relaxation and lots of energy!

💆‍♀️ We enjoyed our Little Minds Retreat Spa Day — soaking our toes, relaxing, and getting our nails and hair done
☀️ Plenty of outdoor play in the sunshine
💃 A fun-filled dance party with lots of music and movement
⚽ Sensory play inspired by the World Cup, exploring textures, colours and creativity

A beautiful mix of calm moments, active play and happy smiles all week 💛

⚽☀️ World Cup Week & Fun in the Sun ☀️⚽

What a busy week we've had!

⚽ We designed our own footballs and showed off our creativity
🏆 We created our very own trophies fit for champions
🥅 We enjoyed lots of football games and friendly competition with our friends
🧊💦 We explored sensory play using ice, rice and water, with plenty of messy fun along the way
☀️ We made the most of the sunshine with lots of outdoor play and adventures

🚦 We also had a special visit from Nicola from the RSA, where we learned all about road safety in a fun and engaging way.

A week full of learning, laughter, teamwork and sunshine! 💛
