🎨 Thrilled to announce that our weekly
classes are back for Home Educated Children ✨

We had so much fun last term that we simply had to continue our Home School Art Group in 2026 🥳
We've included a few snapshots of what we got up to in Term 1 and there is more process art fun planned for Term 2!

🌟 In our Studio Creatives sessions, children explore process art; a way of creating that's all about imagination, experimentation, and joy (not perfect outcomes!). We follow the seasons, sometimes read a story to spark inspiration, and always make space for children to find their own creative flow.

✨Calling all Home Educated Families✨

I'm excited to share that I'm hoping to open a weekly daytime art class especially for home educated children (ages 5+)

In my Studio Creatives sessions, children explore process art; a way of creating that's all about imagination, experimentation, and joy (not perfect outcomes!). We follow the seasons, sometimes read a story to spark inspiration, and always make space for children to find their own creative flow.

I've loved seeing how much children and families enjoy my Saturday morning classes, and now l'd love to create a space just for the home education community 💚

✂️ Collage is such a wonderful process. It allows you to offer materials in an open ended way to children and in turn they love the freedom to create and express themselves. It’s also a great way to use up scrap pieces of paper!

I’ve found that some children naturally gravitate to this style of art and other children need a little help with understanding this process.

❤️ Matisse is a wonderful example to inspire collage. ‘Matisse’s Garden’ by Samantha Friedman and Cristina Amodeo is a fantastic book to teach children about Matisse’s work and his thought process behind his famous collage compositions.

After reading this beautiful book together, the children were inspired to create their very own collage masterpieces. I love how every child’s composition was unique and special to them ✨

🐶 Riley requested a dog art theme to celebrate her 8th Birthday.

At creative Fireflies, we love to turning children’s dream art parties into reality!

We supplied printed dog pictures as inspiration for the children and they also were invited to bring along their favourite cuddly dog toy.

The children enjoyed drawing their favourite furry friend on canvas and then mixing up their own colours to bring their masterpiece to life.

We always love to add a few mix media pieces (stickers, ribbon, gems) to add that special touch ✨

🐰 This Easter at Creative Fireflies we’re hosting not one but TWO fun-filled days of creativity, storytelling, and hands-on activities designed to spark imagination and joy!

You can choose to attend one Day Camp or both!

🐰 Day 1: Bunny Bonanza

🗓️Monday, 14th April

⏰ 10 AM – 2 PM

Ages: 5 – 12 years

Price: €65

🐇 Children will get creative making bouncing bunnies and bunny houses using recyclables and art materials.

🎨 They’ll also design their own sketchbook from sustainable materials, enjoy interactive storytelling, and play games—plenty of fun guaranteed!

🌟 Day 2: The Magical Yet

🗓️Tuesday, 15th April

⏰10 AM – 2 PM

Ages: 5 – 12 years

Price: €65

✨ Inspired by the uplifting book “The Magical Yet,” children will explore the power of a growth mindset while designing and creating their very own Magical Yet character using cardboard and colourful art supplies.

🎨 Plus, they’ll craft a unique sketchbook, enjoy storytelling, and play games.

🎨 Our weekly classes are back 🥳

❄️ Join us at Creative Fireflies Art Studio for some Winter process art fun!

🎨 This January we’re continuing with our 4 week block of classes

🌟 Mini Creatives (18mths - 3yrs)

⏰ Fridays: 10am - 11am

🎨 Mini Creatives is a 1 hour long art-based sensory class where toddlers aged 18mths - 3 years old investigate and learn through inspired art and sensory experiences.

Clean up is on us! Come ready to share this experience with your toddler, meet new families and have some process art fun!

*Please dress for mess

🌟 Studio Creatives (5 -12 yr olds)

⏰ Saturdays: 9.30am - 10.30am

🎨 Studio Creatives process art classes are a one-hour, drop off experience where children are inspired to create freely and embrace the joy of art making.

Our focus is on the process , not the final product, allowing our Studio Creatives to explore, experiment, and express themselves confidently.

❤️ Each child goes home with artwork they’re truly proud of , reflecting their individuality and creativity. We encourage independent exploration in our supportive studio environment, fostering confidence and a love for creating.

I’m really looking forward to welcoming you all back for more process art fun at the studio!

🌈 Amazing rainbows bursting with colour 🎨

💖 We had the pleasure of customising this beautiful rainbow art party for a very creative 7 year old and all of her friends.

🌈 Painting, gluing collage materials, threading colourful beads…I love when you provide children with a blank template and they pour their imaginations and personalities into their work!

❤️ The children enjoyed the calm, creative atmosphere-chatting, laughing and expressing themselves through art.

🎂 Check out the beautiful rainbow birthday cake made by the very talented team at Sweet Planet, Dunshaughlin. Fantastic work 👏

🎨 This class is filled with sensory, art & play activities. Come along with your child and spend some quality, uninterrupted creative time together.
Meet new families and have some fun. This is the best messy play date you’ll ever have, and with the added bonus: clean up is on us!

5 - 7 yr olds: 9.30am - 10.30am

8 - 12 yr olds: 11.30am - 12.30pm

🎨 This is a drop off class. Children will experience guided process art sessions in an environment where their unique artistic voice is honoured. With a wide range of materials on offer, children’s imaginations are given the chance to ignite, allowing them to get into a creative flow as they enjoy the creative process.

💚 Nurturing children’s unique, inner artistic voice and encouraging a growth mindset towards their work is at the heart of what we do at Creative Fireflies!
