A big day today as our 72 First Years started their journey in DCS. Lots of smiles, new friends and new beginnings.

Best of luck to our former students who will play on the biggest stage tomorrow in Croke Park. Helena Cummins as captain of the Roscommon team will lead her team out against Fermanagh in the Intermediate final. Olivia and Siobhan Divilly will line out with Galway who take on Kerry in the All Ireland Senior final. We wish both teams and their management the best of luck.

While on the topic of well wishes, another huge well done to past-pupils Katie Slattery, Isabelle Murray and Rebecca Noone, who were part of the Galway Ladies Football team who captured the U20 All-Ireland football title at the weekend. 👏

🎓 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝑬𝒙𝒂𝒎𝒔 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒆𝒕𝒆 🎉

Today marks the official conclusion of the State Exams in DCS, with five of our Leaving Cert students sitting their final exam this evening - Applied Maths. 👏 (A first for DCS - well done to Conor, Jack, Seán, Ellen and Conor)

A massive well done to all our Leaving Cert, LCA and Junior Cycle students for your dedication, hard work, and positive spirit over the past few weeks. You should be incredibly proud of yourselves! 💪

Now it’s time for all our exam students to relax and recharge — we hope you all enjoy a well-deserved summer break and make the most of the lovely weather.

Week one features a trip to Trinity College in Dublin on the Friday with a visit to Rent the Runway's European HQ on the second week, so it's an amazing opportunity to see a college campus and experience a day in the life working in industry!
