The learning never stops, open ended materials, creativity and imagination are always exceptional tools to build, recreate and let your dreams fly. When you don’t have all the details, all the toys you work on problem solving, thinking out of the box and come up with new ideas to achieve your goals! .blocks

We found a dead bee and a dead wasp and decided to dissect them to better understand their anatomy, taxonomy and role in nature.

The kids took the legs and wings and studied them in the microscope. We discovered pollen stoke to their legs, looked at the different parts of the bees and understood why and how pollinators carry their work.

Understanding other creatures, discovering their role and how they are interconnected to other, animals, plants, humans… help them have a deeper respect for nature around them.

We had a great time at . The team at the National Park organised a treasure hunt followed by a walk trying to find clues of wildlife, an animal quiz and fun games. The kids learnt a lot about Irish wilderness and animals habitats. So grateful for this learning opportunity!

One of the children made a great presentation about a theme of his own interest, vikings! He presented with such a passion that captured everyone else’s attention and the interest expanded into other activities. We had such a fabulous day exploring about Viking’s culture.

Enjoying outdoors maths. Making their own 100 board was such a fun experience and helped them through many different skills (including patience and attention to detail). Jumping on one square and observing, trying to deduce which number would go on that position and why, identifying patterns, skip counting and figuring out which numbers repeat and which ones don’t. Feeling in their own bodies how easy is to skip count in two and how far is when you skip count in tens, thinking when do you finish the board faster, using your body to do additions and subtractions. Using the whole body helps your brain understand, resonate and retain the information don’t be restricted to a table and chair.
