🌈 WELCOME BACK 🌈

We are so excited to welcome all our little VIPs back to preschool on
Tuesday, 1st September 💛
We can’t wait to see all those familiar little faces again and to welcome our new children as they begin their preschool adventure with us. 🥰

And as a new school year begins, we’re also thinking of all our little VIPs from last term who are getting ready for their very first day at National School. 🎒✨

Our local community has been deeply saddened by the devastating house fire that destroyed the home of Killybegs firefighter Fergal Gatins, his wife Niamh, and their six children.
In a matter of moments, the family lost their home and all of their belongings, leaving them with only the clothes they were wearing.
The Donegal Firefighters Association has launched a GoFundMe campaign to help the Gatins family through this incredibly difficult time. Every donation, no matter the amount, will help provide essential items and support them as they begin to rebuild their lives.

Graduation Day 👩🏻‍🎓💖

Today was one of the most special days of the year as we say goodbye to our wonderful preschool children. 🥹
Our hearts are filled with so many emotions. It’s never easy watching our little ones spread their wings, but what a privilege it has been to be part of their journey. We've watched them grow in confidence, make friendships, overcome challenges, and fill our days with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories.
We are so incredibly proud of each and every one of you. As you begin your next adventure in big school, know that a little piece of Little VIP's will always go with you, and a little piece of you will always stay with us. ❤️
Good luck to all our amazing graduates. Keep being kind, keep believing in yourselves, and never stop shining. 🌟🎓💖

🚑 National Ambulance service 🚑

Our Little VIP'S got a huge surprise today when our paramedic Donal Murrin gave them the fantastic opportunity to explore the ambulance and some of the procedures Paramedic's will do.

They got their temps checks ❤️, had an ECG, learned to use a nebulizer 🫁, neck brace 🤕, leg splint🩼learned how to preform CPR and even a body stretcher 🛏.

Some people touch so many lives without ever asking for anything in return. Louise Adair is one of those people. 🦋

If you know Louise, you'll know her as a devoted wife, an incredible mammy to four beautiful children, and a friend who is always there when someone needs support, encouragement, or simply a kind word 🫂. She has spent her life caring for others with a generosity that has touched so many hearts.
Today, Louise is facing the unthinkable.
She has been diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer that has spread to her brain, bones, lungs, and liver.

The reality is heartbreaking. The family home that has been filled with love and laughter is no longer suitable for Louise's changing needs, and significant adaptations are needed to help her remain at home with her husband and children.

None of us can take away what Louise and her family are going through, but together we can help ease some of the burden they are carrying. Every donation, no matter how small, will help provide practical support and allow Louise to focus on what matters most, spending time with the people she loves. ❤️

Today we headed to the shore for a wonderful nature exploration, and the children had the most amazing time discovering the treasures hidden along the shoreline. 💙

So many smiles, chats, and laughs shared between generations.

Our Little VIPs have had a fantastic month learning all about life on the farm! 🚜🌾
We explored just how important farming is and the incredible role our farmers play in our everyday lives. Our Little VIPs learned all about “field to table” foods and even got hands-on by making their own brown bread, using wheat grown and harvested on farms.
We also enjoyed a lovely walk where we looked for sheep and lambs, bringing our learning to life out in nature. 🐑
They discovered where milk comes from, had the chance to “milk” a cow, and watched real-life videos of cows being milked in a milking parlour. A big thank you to Porters Parlour in Castlefinn for kindly sending our Little VIPs these educational videos and helping us see how it all works. 🐄
We even made butter from scratch, which our Little VIPs really enjoyed a lovely way to see how natural ingredients turn into something delicious!
Our Little VIPs also learned all about the different tractors, their colours, and even their names 🚜
Along the way, our Little VIPs learned about the people who work on farms and the different types of equipment used every day.
A very special thank you to John Cassidy for giving our Little VIPs such a memorable experience from sitting in the tractor to exploring the farm equipment up close. 🚜
