If you’re thinking about learning Portuguese, you probably have a few questions before choosing a course. And you should.

Which Portuguese should I learn? Will I actually get enough time to speak in class? How do I know which level is right for me?

After years of teaching Portuguese, we know these are some of the things students want to understand before choosing a course. So we’ve answered a few of them in this post and explained how we do things at our school.

Our next Brazilian and European Portuguese group courses start from 1st September, with live online classes, small groups of up to 8 students and courses from Beginners to Advanced.

And if there’s something we haven’t answered, just ask us. Leave your question in the comments, send us a DM or get in touch with the school. We’ll be happy to help...

Simple ingredients, strong regional identity and plenty of flavour make this a great example of how food can tell us so much about a place and the people who live there.

For most people learning Portuguese, there’s one unforgettable moment
 

You look at a page full of verb conjugations and wonder, “Will I ever learn all this?”

The answer is yes.

Learning Portuguese isn’t about knowing every verb from the start. It’s about making progress with every lesson, every conversation and every new discovery.

One day you’ll look back and realise those verbs that once seemed impossible have become part of your everyday Portuguese.

Keep going. You’re closer than you think.
