A fantastic end to a great academic year! ✨👏🏻
This morning we recognized during assemblies the
Kindness, Creativity & Effort of our First, Second, Third & Fifth Year Students.
There were also special awards celebrating Spirit, Stealth, Sports,Extra Curricular & Contribution to Sports.
As always we were blown away by the amazing contributions of all our students.
Wishing all our Parents, Staff & Students a restful and enjoyable Summer 😎

Our 2nd Year students here at Goatstown ETSS participated in Climate Action workshops today facilitated by Global Action Plan. Well done to all students involved!

On May 9th GETSS participated in our third Darkness into Light in Marlay Park. We were joined by 43 amazing students at 4.15 am to raise awareness and funds for Pieta House.

A huge well done to all students involved and a special mention to all those on the Amber Flag commitee, who fundraised for entry 💛💜☀️

Well done to Mylie Rose Byrnes and Maya Hoffmeister who presented their Ethical Education Project at the Educate Together AGM last weekend. The project was part of the Educate Together Ethical Education Event on the 16th of April, for which they initially created the project. The event was also attended by James Bingham O'Leary, Daksh Kumar, Fahad Alamri, Anthony Dunne, Abbey Hoti, Jasmine Kinch, Khevna Mehta and Ammar Elsayed from the school. Well done everyone!

Recent events within TY PE - Starting with rowing on the water with , a tennis coaching course with , a friendly 7 a side Senior Boys soccer tournament and an exhibition from a few TY students in the PE XPO for the first time this year! Well done to all involved!

Well done to our incredible Transition Year GAA Future Leaders, who organised the Laps for Inclusion event for Special Olympics Ireland. 👏🏻
We are excited to announce that due to our incredible fundraising efforts that we have won a visit from the offical Special Olympics Torch as it begins its journey to the Ireland Summer Games 2026. ✨
The torch visit is a special moment in the lead up to the Games and we are delighted to be a part of this.

A busy few days for our TYs who finished off the week enjoying the weather with a trip to Emerald Park. Earlier this week they had workshops with the brilliant and Jamie from who discussed all things barbering, hair styling and entrepreneurship! This is on top of the launch of this year's Scriptorium project! Well done to all involved!

As the countdown to graduation 🧑🏼‍🎓 begins, our fabulous 6th years were treated to tapas to thank them for their participation in Spanish in GETSS. They were our founding Erasmus plus group as well as being trailblazers for Spanish in the school. Les echaremos mucho de menos y les deseamos suerte en todo. 🇪🇸 💃🏼 🥘

Well done to our TY students who organised a Laps for Inclusion event in aid of Special Olympics Ireland today.
Students paired up with the service users of St Michael’s House Ophaly Lodge and walked, ran, and danced their way around the course.
The group covered over 100km and raised €1,150 for a fantastic cause.
A huge thank you to Rosemount FC for the use of their grounds, as well as our local Community Gardaí who came out to support the event.
