Brief Job Description:
Position available for an Early Years Educator for the 2025 ECCE intake.

We are looking for a dedicated professional Early Years educator. The ideal candidates will understand the importance of Early Years education and be committed to meeting the needs of the children. They need to be caring, patient, kind, creative and fun loving with a desire to challenge their own practice in the best interest of the children.

Commitment to being an integral part of the team is a must have. Quality and dedication to safeguarding the welfare of the children is essential.

Candidate Requirements and Duties:

Candidates must hold a Minimum QQI Level 5 in Childcare / Early Childhood Studies.

The ideal candidate:
• Will be a team player but also able to use their own initiative,
• Understand each child learns at their own pace.
• Can bring energy and enthusiasm to the role.
• Communicate well with others.
• Work in partnership with parents.
• Ensuring the children have good hygiene and support intimate care needs.
• Cleaning interactive areas throughout the day and maintaining all learning environments
• Organising activities and developing curriculum for children according to their age and stage of development
• Structuring routines for the children as part of their learning goals
• Carrying out observations and maintaining records of learning to provide for better outcomes for children
• Demonstrate good knowledge of Child development, Pre-school regulations and Aistear and Siolta.
