Yet again the girls made an amazing effort with their World Book Day costumes!
Each class got on stage and the girls were brilliant at explaining the characters they had dressed up as.
We also had some lucky raffle winners from each class! A great day all round, well done girls!

Snippets from our Seactain na Gaeilge celebrations! The girls were busy the past few weeks learning various Irish dances for our school céilí. We had the pleasure of watching performances from the girls who attend Irish dancing lessons after school along with a performance from our school choir. The girls also took part in bingo as a whole school with many girls winning prizes. Great fun was certainly had by all!

Our second class girls made their First Confession today and we are very proud of them all. We look forward to First Holy Communion in May! Well done girls!

Today we had the pleasure of presenting the Louth Disability Cycling Club with over €700. This money was collected through our Valentine’s raffle and jumper day. There was great excitement among the girls and we are delighted to be able to give to such a wonderful cause. This money will help the club doing the great work they do. A massive thank you to everyone that contributed.

Today, we held our Christmas Fair and it is always one of our favourite days of the year! The girls had the best time eating crepes, drinking hot chocolate and shopping at the stalls of baked goods and crafted items. The sixth class girls put in so much work the past few weeks and it was amazing to see all their fabulous creations. A big shoutout to all the girls in sixth class, their teachers and all of the other staff involved. A great start to the festivities!🎄

We had the best Halloween fun today and it is safe to say the girls danced their socks off!! We started the day with a spooky walk around town followed by our Halloween disco. Each class had prepared a dance to perform and they all did a fabulous job. The student council had prepared and set up games for the girls to play and they were thoroughly enjoyed by all. A fantastic day all round to end the first school term. ☺️🎃
