Another Saturday, another day of learning! 📚👏

A huge well done to our fantastic team who gave up their Saturday to take part in Lámh training! 👐❤️

Lámh is all about giving children another way to communicate, making sure every little voice is heard, understood and valued. 🥰

We are so proud of our educators who continue to go above and beyond, always learning, growing and finding new ways to support the individual needs of every child in our care. 🌈

Because being an Early Years Educator doesn’t stop when Friday comes around! 😂❤️

💛 LOOKING AFTER THE PEOPLE WHO LOOK AFTER EVERYONE ELSE 💛

A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful Mary @ Mary’s Nutrition for such an amazing first session of our Staff Wellbeing Course 🥰🙌

This evening’s session focused on nutrition, with lots of thoughtful advice, practical tips and gentle reminders to help our team look after their health and wellbeing.

Every day, our incredible staff give so much of themselves to our little people. They care, comfort, teach, encourage, cuddle and love, helping each child feel safe, happy and supported. Their kindness, patience and dedication make such a difference every single day ❤️

That’s why it’s so important that we take time to care for the people who care for everyone else. Our team deserve to feel supported, valued and looked after too 💕

It was even more special to welcome Mary, who is also one of our amazing parents. Being able to learn and grow together within our own crèche and preschool community made the evening truly meaningful 🥹

Thank you, Mary, for sharing your knowledge, warmth and encouragement with us. We’re so grateful for the time you gave and for reminding us that looking after ourselves is not selfish….. it’s essential.

We’re already looking forward to next week’s fitness class 💕

🌟 OUR EMPLOYEES OF THE MONTH 🌟

A huge congratulations to two very special ladies this month
Catherine Smyth from Holy Family Parish Community Crèche and Jaymee Young from our Sunflower Room in Claddagh’s Treasures Preschool. 💛🌻
👩‍🍳 Catherine is our amazing chef who not only keeps all of our children fed every day, but somehow manages to feed the entire staff team too! 😂 At this stage, we’re not sure if she’s our chef, our second mammy, or simply the reason half of us turn up to work!
Catherine looks after everyone with a hot meal, a kind word and plenty of craic. We would genuinely be lost .... & very hungry without her! ❤️

🌻 Jaymee brings so much warmth, patience and kindness to our Sunflower Room. She also does something extra special by introducing the children to the Irish language, helping them learn simple words and phrases in a fun and natural way. 🇮🇪💚
Between singing songs, answering 500 questions before lunch and helping our little ones learn a cúpla focal, Jaymee somehow still manages to keep smiling! 😂
Both ladies bring so much care and heart to our services every single day, and we are very lucky to have them.
Well done Catherine and Jaymee very well deserved! 🏆❤️
And Catherine… this award definitely does not mean you can stop feeding us! 😂🍲

At Holy Family Parish Community Crèche CLG, we are extremely proud of the caring, supportive and professional team we have built. 💛

🎃🎅 DATES FOR THE DIARY! 🎅🎃

We know, we know… we’re frighteningly organised this year! 😂 September isn’t even over and we’re already talking pumpkins, Santa and Christmas dinner! 🎄🤣

But with lots of lovely events ahead, we thought we’d give our parents plenty of notice to pop these dates into the diary. ❤️

🎃 Pumpkin Patch – Muirhevnamor Community Centre
Claddagh’s Treasures Preschool: Wednesday 21st October
Holy Family: Friday 23rd October

🎅 Santa Visit & Christmas Dinner
Holy Family: Wednesday 9th December – in the service
Claddagh’s Treasures Preschool: Thursday 10th December – Muirhevnamor Community Centre

We have lots of fun planned and can’t wait to make some more magical memories with all our little people. 🥰

And yes… we promise we won’t put the Christmas tree up just yet! 😂🎄❤️

🎨💛 A Massive €1,376 Raised for North Louth Hospice!💛

Back in May, our wonderful little artists held the Claddagh’s Treasures Art Gallery and later Jersey Day in both buildings, raising an incredible €1,376 for North Louth Hospice

We may be a little late presenting the cheque but anyone working in early years knows that May can somehow turn into September in the blink of an eye! 😂 Between graduations, summer holidays and welcoming everyone back, it has certainly been a busy few months.

However, this very special achievement was absolutely worth celebrating. We are bursting with pride in our talented children, whose beautiful artwork helped to raise such an amazing amount for a charity that provides invaluable care and support to local people and their families.

A heartfelt thank you to every parent, family member and friend who supported our Art Gallery so generously, and to our wonderful team who helped make it all possible. A special shout out to MiniMinds Preschool and The Redeemer Crèche for donating spot prizes along with many amazing local businesses we are forever grateful for your support for such a worthy cause.

Our cheque may have taken the scenic route, but it arrived with an enormous amount of love from the entire Claddagh’s Treasures Preschool and The Holy Family Parish Community Creche family! 🎨🖌️💛

What a lovely way to start the week, celebrating two very special girlies who give so much to our services every single day. 💛

Today we are delighted to recognise our wonderful Employees of the Month Shauna Mc Kee from The Holy Family Parish Community Crèche and Carmina Schiavone from Claddagh’s Treasures Preschool. 🌸

✨ Shauna Mc Kee
Shauna is such a valued part of our Holy Family team. Always kind, helpful and willing to lend a hand, she brings such a lovely energy to her role. So much of what happens behind the scenes relies on organisation, patience and teamwork, and Shauna gives all of that and more. Her hard work and dedication never go unnoticed, and we are very lucky to have her with us. 💐

✨ Carmina Schiavone
Carmina brings so much care and warmth into everything she does. Every meal she prepares for our children is made with thought, effort and a genuine sense of pride. She is always smiling, always helpful and is such an important part of the Claddagh’s Treasures family. The kindness she shows to the children and the team is truly appreciated. 👩‍🍳💕

Both Shauna and Carmina are wonderful examples of the people who make our services feel like such special places to be.

We are so proud to celebrate you both today and to say a huge thank you for everything you do. Your hard work, kindness and commitment mean more than you know. 💛

The Holy Family Waddler Mystery Tour is officially up and running! 🚌

Our little Waddlers got to try out their brand-new 10-seater wagon, and the faces at the beginning were absolutely priceless 😂

Some were ready to go straight away, some were taking it all in… and a few little faces were definitely saying,
“Hang on a minute… where exactly are we going?” 🤨😂

But once they got used to it, they all absolutely LOVED it! 💛🥰

They had the best time taking in all the sights and sounds of our local community, waving at people, spotting cars and buses and enjoying the fresh air together. 🌳👋

And of course, no Waddler adventure would be complete without a little excitement…

A lovely bus driver spotted our tiny travelers, gave them a big wave and even gave them a BEEP BEEP! 🚌📣😂

Well… you can imagine the excitement after that! 🥰

Our new wagon is going to give our little Waddlers so many wonderful opportunities to get out, explore their community and enjoy lots of little adventures together.

A few unsure faces at the start… but it wasn’t long before they were travelling like seasoned professionals! 😂💛

10 tiny passengers, one big wagon and lots of adventures ahead! 🚌💛✨We can’t wait to see where their travels take them next. One thing is certain… if you see our little wagon coming, there will probably be plenty of waving, giggling and very important Waddler conversations happening on board! 👋😂

🌈 A Little Update for Our Parents 🌈

We are delighted to see all of our children settling so well into their new surroundings. 💛

Please bear with us during this very important and busy settling-in period, as our educators focus on helping every child feel happy, safe and secure.

A gentle reminder that Mosaic is our main form of communication with parents. Through the Mosaic app, our educators can share photographs, updates and learning stories directly with you, allowing you to see and celebrate your child’s experiences, development and achievements.

Mosaic is more than just a communication tool, it creates an important link between home and our service. It allows parents to become actively involved in their child’s learning journey and to share information with their child’s educators.

We kindly ask all parents to use Mosaic when communicating with their child’s educators so that we can continue working together to support every child.
