DKIT Parent and Toddler Group 2018 DKIT Level 8 Earlychildhood studies students are holding a parent & toddler group for anyone with a 0-3 y/o child. This is for 7 sessions & free of charge

We just wanted to say another huge thank you to all of you who attended our parent and toddler group over the last 7 week. We loved getting to know you all and build relationships with you. We hope you enjoyed the group as much as we did and learned just as much as we did. We hope you all have a wonderful Christmas 🎄 🎅.

‘What a wonderful world’🎵🌿🌳🐇🦔!

Today we explored the theme of nature through our activities with the children in the Early Childhood room, Sensory Garden and the Outdoors.
From mark making with leaves, to feeding the squirrel, to making musical instruments from natural materials 🍁🎶

We hope everyone had an enjoyable day🎉.

Our theme for this week’s session was ‘Animals’. 🐤🐯🐼🐮

Today, we entered the Jungle🦁🐘and visited Old McDonald’s farm🐖🐔!
Everyone did a great job at feeding the hungry animals in our Jungle and caring for Old McDonald’s farm animals🐒🐄
Here’s a look at the environments that we provided for the children. We hoped everyone enjoyed it, we sure did 🎉.

Another great day at our Parent and Toddler group, we had so much fun this week and hoped everyone did too!👻🎃
Our theme for this week was Halloween. 🧟‍♂️ Here’s a little taste of the activities that we provided in the Sensory Garden and the Early Childhood room.

Just a reminder, there is no session next Wednesday due to the Halloween break🎃

Our theme of the week for our group was Transport. ✈️⛵️🚘

In our Early Childhood room, the children had the opportunity to experience other areas such as our cold wonderland❄️, hot beach🏖 and our green jungle!🌴
We took a trip to these magical lands on our homemade bus, our homemade airplane and our homemade boat !
There was lots of opportunities for sensory and imagine play, and we really enjoyed it. We hope everyone had fun too.
Thank you to all the parents and toddlers.🌸

Our theme for next week is Halloween! 🎃 👻 So feel free to dress up, both parents and children. 🐲🧟‍♂️

Hi everyone!

We hope you are all as excited as we are for our first Parent and Toddler group session tomorrow morning!

Just a reminder for those coming by car to park in DKIT Sport as parking in the college is very limited. The bus will be at DKIT Sport at 10:15 to collect everyone coming by car. This bus will bring everyone who has parked in DKIT Sport back to their car at 12:30.

The theme for the week is Getting To Know Me, and you can expect a large variety of fun activities from 10:30-12:30.

Taking places for our 2018 Parent + Toddler group (ages 0-3). This group will take place every Wednesday from 10:30-12:30, starting on October 10th in the Muirhevna Building DKIT. A great opportunity for you and your child to experience fun and meaningful activities, free of charge. For more information and to book your place, please contact us at [email protected].
