Dundalk Community Training Centre Dundalk Community Training Centre The Dundalk Community Training Centre is an alternative training and eduction centre based in Dundalk Town Centre.

Our target group are young people who have left education early. We seek to ensure that our Trainee's are job ready or continue with further training. Our Community Training Centre offers accredited QQI Awards, life skills and personal development for all. We provide a learner centred environment, rooted in mutual respect and an appreciation of the different needs that each learner may have. We endeavour to take a holistic approach to our learners needs, in collaboration with other support services, to enable young people to gain confidence, self esteem, life skills and a qualification for further studies and or employment.

A huge thank you to the Year 2 styling team National Hairdressing Apprenticeship DundalkDundalk for an incredible, hands-on look at the hairdressing industry on Wednesday!

Our learners recently got a true inside look at what a Hairdressing Apprenticeship is really like. They spent the day shadowing Year 2 apprentices, watching professional cutting and highlighting techniques up close.

The best part? They got to jump right into the salon action themselves! Using top-tier facilities, our learners practiced their styling skills, curling and straightening hair on training block heads. They absolutely loved the experience and walked away with a real understanding of the skill, creativity, and dedication it takes to succeed in this industry.

Dundalk Community Training Centre is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Beauty Specialist Tutor to join our team on a part-time basis.

This rewarding role involves delivering practical and theory-based training to young learners aged 16–21 as part of our Beauty Therapy programme. The programme supports early school leavers in developing practical skills, confidence, and pathways into employment or further education within the beauty industry.

The successful candidate will:
âś” Deliver engaging, hands-on beauty therapy training
âś” Support learners in developing industry-standard skills
âś” Encourage confidence, professionalism, and employability
âś” Help prepare learners for careers within the beauty and wellness sector

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified beauty professional looking for a meaningful teaching role with flexible hours; ideal alongside salon work or self-employment.
