Our target group are young people who have left education early. We seek to ensure that our Trainee's are job ready or continue with further training. Our Community Training Centre offers accredited QQI Awards, life skills and personal development for all. We provide a learner centred environment, rooted in mutual respect and an appreciation of the different needs that each learner may have. We en

deavour to take a holistic approach to our learners needs, in collaboration with other support services, to enable young people to gain confidence, self esteem, life skills and a qualification for further studies and or employment.

🕒 Part-time | (6 Hours)

Dundalk Community Training Centre is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Beauty Specialist Tutor to join our team on a part-time basis.

This rewarding role involves delivering practical and theory-based training to young learners aged 16–21 as part of our Beauty Therapy programme. The programme supports early school leavers in developing practical skills, confidence, and pathways into employment or further education within the beauty industry.

The successful candidate will:
✔ Deliver engaging, hands-on beauty therapy training
✔ Support learners in developing industry-standard skills
✔ Encourage confidence, professionalism, and employability
✔ Help prepare learners for careers within the beauty and wellness sector

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified beauty professional looking for a meaningful teaching role with flexible hours; ideal alongside salon work or self-employment.

🎄✨ Learners Giving Back This Christmas ✨🎄

Learners at Dundalk Community Training Centre raised an amazing €322 for Women’s Aid Dundalk through a festive Christmas Fair and coffee morning, planned, created and delivered entirely by the learners themselves 👏

From handmade Christmas cards, decorations and wooden crafts to festive baking and hot chocolate cones, the event showcased the creativity, teamwork and enterprise skills being developed at DCTC. Learners also put their barista training into action, creating a warm and welcoming coffee morning for staff and the wider community ☕

As part of the project, learners also completed a STEAM-based sustainable build, designing and creating outdoor play blocks for the Women’s Aid Dundalk crèche, combining real-world skills, sustainability and community impact 💚

We’re incredibly proud of our learners for their dedication, creativity and social responsibility.
