The welsh turned up in force this morning with Alastair and Ashley volunteering on the finish line. No strangers to parkrun as they both are involved in Llanfoist Crossing parkrun and Bailey junior parkrun in Abergavenny. They both spent the weekend here getting a parkrun, 10mile race and volunteering with us before they fly home this evening. Thanks for visting us and volunteering hopefully we will meet again. We also had Henry and his family on hoildays. There home parkrun been Bridgend junior parkrun We hope you enjoyed your hoilday and safe journey home.

We had 42 juniors take part and we sang happy birthday to James. Ria, Noah and Kate all collected there well earned 25th milestone wristband.

Thanks to Rachel for organising our junior warm up leaders while Carol did the first timers briefing. Today was a great display of team work and everyone coming together.

Would you like to get involved in our Relay team for the 24hour Relay for Life in aid of the Irish Cancer Society .
Don't worry you are not expected to do it on your own as we will take turns starting on Saturday 12th of September at 2pm and finish Sunday the 13th at 2pm.

Time Flies when you’re having fun!! 5 years of Dundalk IT Junior Patkrun today!! Hundreds of children have completed our course .. achieving milestones, creating memories, getting faster, fitter and having fun…. Some of whom have moved on to the 5km parkrun!! Many of our juniors have stepped up to become junior volunteers…. Including Elizabeth and Lucy who were presented with backdated volunteer wristbands marking their valued contribution to Parkrun. We also celebrated with Senan and Adam today who reached their 25 th parkruns. Well done Lads💪. And the birthday cake !!! What can I say .. a totally yummy work of art!!
We could not run parkrun without our valued team of volunteers… thank you one and all. We are always looking for new people to join our team …. Including juniors who would like to get trained up in any particular role…. So just let us know 🥰. See you all next week 😎
