Met Éireann have issued a warning and advisories which are in place for Storm Bram for tomorrow, Tuesday, 9 December.

Following the Department of Children, Disability, and Equality's notification yesterday regarding Storm Bram, please be aware that an application for Force Majeure, including evidence of the requirement to close, must be submitted to Pobal in the event of a service closure within 5 working days.

The application form can be found HERE and must be submitted via a Request on the Early Years Hive selecting the following dropdown options:

My Little Library Book Bag is available free for every child starting junior infants in September 2025 to help them to prepare for this big step! 🥳

Children and their parents or guardians can collect the bags at the following library branches: Dundalk, Drogheda, Ardee, Dunleer and Carlingford!

Bags are available in both Irish and English. It contains two books as well as additional resources and a special wallet to hold their library card.

We can’t wait to welcome all the 4, 5 and 6 year old children in to collect their book bags and begin their library membership journey! It is FREE to become a library member all you need is photo ID & proof of address from a parent/guardian.
