International Day of Persons with Disabilities

We are looking forward to marking the International Day of Persons with Disabilities with an event focused on invisible disabilities. The event will be chaired by Aisling Reast, and our panelists are Emily Larkin (Founder, Invisible Disability Ireland) and Silvia Plaza (Founder and Clinical Director, Violet Psychotherapy). This will be an engaging discussion about lived experiences of hidden disabilities, the impact of stigma and the power of advocacy.

We’re asking RCSI to Speak Out at rcsi.speakout.ie
Speak Out is an online resource for students and staff to safely and anonymously report misconduct, such as bullying, cyberbullying, discrimination, hate crime, assault, sexual harassment and sexual assault.

The tool will signpost you to support services relevant to the incident you reported. Anonymous data collected will also be used to inform policy and to create targeted educational initiatives.
