some answers to most common questions on our upcoming club.. Q. Why teach things that are not on the school syllabus?
A. Some of the material we cover is not taught until college, but is very accessible with our maths / coding format in a social environment. This gives our students a special insight that teaches them how to think for themselves - so they will be better at solving problems in a variety of subjects as they move through their schooling.

Q. Why split focus on maths and coding?
A. Both subjects are mutually reinforcing. When students tackle a challenge from a fundamental perspective their learning is deeper and more long lasting.

Q. Isn't 1.5 hours too long to maintain my child's attention?
A. In our experience students don't notice the time passing as they are continuously engaged. We work out challenges on pen & paper first and then reinforce that learning through coding and team challenges. The subject matter is fun - such as coding simple games. More importantly - students learn through games and challenges.

Q. What happens if my child is not enjoying the course?
A. Our risk free guarantee is that if your child is not enjoying their learning experience after the second workshop - we will refund you the full cost of the course - no questions asked!

Q. Anything to do while my child attends the club?
A. We recommend the following establishments within walking distance: Anderson's Creperie, McGraths, Diep, Independent Pizza, Fagans, Bread & Butter Cafe.

Q. Will my child be intimidated by some of the course content?
A. In order to prevent this - we create team based challenges and games. The environment is informal and social as a result. We also have a helpful peer-aged past student who assists students with things like code debugging. We find our approach is very empowering for students!
