This week we take a look at the popular yet controversial American radio host “Charlamagne Tha God” best-selling book titled ’Shook One’ where the North Carolina native opens up on his experiences with anxiety and PTSD. "Charlamagne Tha God" has been dubbed the modern day "Oprah Winfrey" by a certain Kanye West and is certainly one of the main influencers in popular culture today.
Charlemagne's first major radio gig came as the second mic to popular radio host Wendy Williams in the USA.
He rose to prominence co-hosting the morning show called ‘The Breakfast Club’ on station Power 105.1 in New York where he became famous for asking prominent people in the entertainment industry tough questions whilst also making some would say inappropriate comments and statements to some of the best-loved and most famous actors, musicians, comedians, directors, and producers.
“Shook One- Anxiety Playing Tricks on Me” is a refreshingly open take on the taboo subject of mental health issues which shows a more vulnerable side to the ‘shock jockey’
He proclaims in the book “I’m successful because I’m scared” which begins the narrative of discussion of how harnessing fear, anxiety and mental strife can give you the drive needed to become and stay successful.

‘F*CK THAT’S DELICIOUS’ is the first cookbook released by Action Bronson the New York rapper, who is now filming the third season of his wildly popular show of the same name which airs on the ‘VICE’ tv channel and also available on YouTube.
Action Bronson, born 'Ariyan Arslani' is a trained chef of Albanian Muslim/American Jewish descent began rapping after suffering a broken leg whilst working in the kitchen of a restaurant.
In Ireland and Dublin in particular, Restaurants have undergone a bit of a renaissance Indie/hipster restaurants, pop-ups and food fairs seemingly opening up every week.
