Teaching Yoga Teachers 🙌 ⠀
⠀..brings me so much joy! Hence why I am still teaching across online/in-studio at 32weeks haha! The next natural step was of course to start sharing this joy with other so they can not only benefit from this magical 'job' but... so that they can also be a part of the positive paradigm shift this practice is helping facilitate in our world today. For some who are set to take part in our YTT, it's simply a path to deepen their connect to this practice - and themselves!⠀

I am honoured to be offering 2021 with Naomi Sturdy .sturdy across/utilising Easter and June Bank Holidays next year. - at ! We made the decision to fully move our 2020 scheduled training to next because we not only felt that people were perhaps dealing with more than enough in 2020 but because we truly believe that a portion of a 200hr YTT simply has to be in person. We cannot wait to hold space in person, share energy and guide you to integrate & evolve your practice.⠀

~Knowing your Yoga Body~⠀⠀
A fundamental element of our training is learning about your own body through anatomical studies, asana explorations and also the vast world of the subtle energetic body.⠀⠀
Traditional and modern Yoga texts, studies, and explorations provide us with infinite avenues to explore our own experiences and then go on to share those insights with others in a teaching context.⠀⠀
The ultimate value and purpose of learning more is to have the knowledge and tools to choose what is most beneficial for your health and well being and then maybe one day help give that gift to others in your classes.⠀⠀
Whether you are an anatomy nerd and you love the scientific approaches or if you love and feel drawn to the more subtle elements, Naomi and Sinead will give space and insight into these unique perspectives.⠀⠀

We want to ensure that when you complete your 200hr YTT and step onto the mat for the first time as fresh excited Yoga Teacher - that you are ready. Making the decision to move our offering to 2021 was only made easy when we considered the gap of knowledge that WE feel would be unfairly left by not giving our students a chance to work with bodies/energies in real life! There's nothing like the magic of holding space for a room full of beautiful humans and we can't wait to hold that space for you, as we teach you how.⠀

Morning all, Naomi here.⠀⠀
Over these past few months the concepts of 'Integrate and Evolve' for have become even more alive and true for this training. ⠀⠀
It is deeply important in our current times that as we step into any training whether for our own personal development or to use the skills as a teacher that we do so with the intention to take what we learn, to integrate it and to use it for our evolution.⠀⠀
This means not just getting information, or doing as we are told, but rather for this training, it is highly important to us that you become YOU as a teacher and as a person.⠀⠀
The landscape of Yoga teaching has changed a lot this year, and I for one am ready to lead the group of trainees next year with awareness of where you can stand and be of value, where your unique experiences will add to others, and how you can do all of that to the best of your ability.⠀⠀

We are still here!
💫🌟
Over the past few months we should have almost completed our 2020 gathering of the teacher training, but as we all know this year has thrown us more than a few curve balls!
We both sat with the prospects of how to continue the training and what would best serve the future teachers to be. In keeping with how we want to educate, how we feel it's important to integrate and connect, we made the difficult decision to postpone the training until next year 2021. We of course debated the idea of moving it online but really felt so strongly about the necessity of facilitating certain elements in-person with our students. This, coupled with the ongoing uncertainty of when we could fully commit to in-studio gatherings, led us to postpone until a time where we could definitively reschedule.
This was a disappointing decision to have to call, but it does mean however, that we have set NEW dates for 2021 for an even better, more refined and enhanced in person teacher training experience.💫
Our 2021 training dates are now available for applications (see specifics below), so if over this year you have had more time to dedicate to your yoga practice and doing a training is something you have been dreaming about then we are ready to hear from you. 💫
We are more excited than ever, filled with enthusiasm, insight and wisdom we have gained over these past few months and ready to share and create a wonderful space for you to feel welcome to learn.

We are embracing change here and have changed our training dates for this year to accommodate the new regulated situation we find ourselves in.
and .sturdy care first and foremost about everyone’s health and secondly that we can adapt and turn these situations into opportunities for growth.
As our training states, let’s integrate and evolve❤️
On the positive side we will be fueling the trainees signed up with some home reading and practice materials and this also means that the new dates may suit some of you who have been messaging us and have been on the fence.

The Art of Teaching Evolution
Naomi here:-) I have been teaching Yoga since 2011 and fulltime since 2012. I've taught in events to hundreds and in small rooms to one or two. I've travelled around the globe studying and practing Yoga from India, to Europe, to down the road in a local studio.💫
An over arching feeling for me over all of the years is I still love to think about and do my best to help people learn and tap into their potential.💫
Teaching to me is defintely an Art. There are aspects to teaching that we can name, label, pin down, learn and repeat flawlessly to impart information, to help others learn, to motivate and inspire. Then there are the elements of softer skills, bringing your true self to the people you meet, showing up with heart, caring, having empathy, humility, being able to listen and to adapt to what is needed or not needed in the moment.💫
This is the art of GREAT teaching, bridging this gap between knowledge transmission and how it is delivered. I am excited and proud to be collaborating with for this years evolution of the training. We have a shared heartfelt love for Yoga and all that it can offer for individuals on and off the mat, in our structured learning spaces and in our lives. 2020 here we come❤️

Yoga BUSINESS - where can your YTT take you...Moons here, I wanted to briefly mention that an aspect of this YTT that I am really excited about is speaking openly about not only my own path, but all of the potential Yoga entrepreneurial paths that like ahead once you graduate. We will be speaking to the realities around being a Yoga teacher in modern society.
