sometimes you’re not missing talent.

You just don’t know which door to knock on yet.

I spent years learning how to do nails.

But nobody taught me how to put myself out there, how to talk about what I do, or how to create opportunities for myself.

I had to figure that part out.

And somewhere between nails, content, business and technology…

I found my way.

Now I want to show you what I learned.

2 years ago, after my 9–5, I was doing nails at home until 10pm, after finishing I would still wondering what to post in social media.

One rainy day, I missed the bus and I had to walk to home, I had to cancel my client's appointment that evening.

The rain was blending with my tears, I thought: “NO MÁS. Ya basta.”

I grabbed my pink pen and made a plan.

I quit my job, started doing nails full-time, built my business and used technology to find the words to promote myself in English.

ALL the time as a nail educator...

Because sometimes the advice we hear sounds right... but it's actually stopping you from getting better results

❌ "Filing the free edge causes lifting."
Actually... it can help prevent lifting!
As long as your product placement is correct. This works for both soak-off and file-off systems.

❌ "Cuticle oil will fix lifting."
I love cuticle oil... but it's for healthy skin, not adhesion.
If your product is lifting, the problem is usually your preparation or your technique.

❌"Short nails don't need hard gel."
Strength is not about having long nails.
A short natural nail can still peel, break and chip without the right structure.

❌"More layers mean stronger nails."
More product doesn't always mean more strength.
The magic is in the balance, structure and correct placement.

❌"Every change on the natural nail is an allergy."
Not every mark is an allergic reaction.
Many times it comes from over-filing, damaged nail structure, or incorrect technique.

Being a better nail tech is not about using MORE product... it's about understanding WHY you do every step.

4 years ago, I moved to Ireland and had to rebuild my life from 0.

It broke my heart realising that my 8 years of doing nails back home meant nothing in this new city.

After 1 month of drama and many crying sessions on the Luas 😂, I did what I do best.

I grabbed my pink pen, my favourite notebook and made a plan.

Not a 5-year plan.

Just what do I need to do next?

That gave me direction.

Direction became routine.

And slowly, I started rebuilding.

Sometimes you’re not stuck because you’re not talented enough.

You just don’t know your next step.
