The Dublin Chapter of the European Veterinary Business Alliance (EVBA) based out of University College Dublin (UCD).

We allow veterinary students access to business education allowing them to succeed in their future careers. Quick Facts
• Founded in 2004, grew quickly, now with 3,000+ members, chapters at all US veterinary schools and still growing in international chapters.
• The VBMA is the largest veterinary student organization without an umbrella or parent organization.
• Our National meeting is held every year at NAVC in Orlando, Florida.

We absolutely loved Caleb’s “Thrive Workshop”! Thank you Dr. Frankel & Instinct Science for sharing some insight with us on having a perspective that stretches a little wider than the books!

Thank you to UC Dublin EVBA students for hosting our CEO last week! We're excited to see the future unfold for the entire European Veterinary Business Alliance - Dublin Chapter 😎 🩺

📣 Upcoming talk! 📣

Join us on Zoom for a discussion on client and team communication with Hillary Pearce, DVM MRCVS, from Hill’s Pet Nutrition!

We will be hosting the talk via Zoom on February 22nd at 7pm.

The link to the talk will be sent via email so you can watch from home, and if people are interested we are also hoping to book a room on campus to watch the talk and have some pizza!

The talk is free to attend for EVBA members.
If non-members wish to attend they can do so for a fee of €1.
Non-members who would like to attend can email us at [email protected].

Members do not need to pre-register but we do take attendance at talks (in person & on Zoom) so that we can log your CEMS hours.

6 hours of EVBA talks count as 1 day of CEMS.
You can start building your hours now, regardless of which programme stage you are at!

DM or email us at [email protected] if you have any further questions. 📥

🎉 Bake sale, reduced membership fees, and CEMS credits for students of ALL stages of Vet Med! 🎉

Hey guys, some of you may have spoken to us a few weeks ago about EVBA, and we have some exciting updates since then!

✅ You can now use EVBA talks/events to build up CEMS credits BEFORE you begin your clinical years 🥳
We document your attendance and pass this onto the school. So any talks you attend from now on count as CEMS hours!
You can use our events to get up to 1 week of CEMS ticked off.

💰 Membership prices are also slightly reduced with more options to hopefully make EVBA accessible for more students.

There’s more details on CEMS credit breakdown and prices in our form below ☺️ Drop us an email or a DM on Instagram if you have any questions!

🍪 And last but most certainly not least, we’re having a bake sale tomorrow in the vet building from 11am-1pm so feel free to come talk to us or sign up then too!

Hey everyone, we’re back this year with in-person talks and events! 🥳

Sign-ups are still open before our first talk later this month: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfVmrc9_H-RugjU-Lq53FoWcq5NfuXylQ_gdkiGbbeQ4hsqiA/viewform

Attending EVBA events now counts as CEMS from ANY year of study onwards - so you can start clocking up days even before you enter your clinical years. 🩺🥼
It’s the perfect opportunity to allieviate some of the pressure and have fun while doing so!
It’s also a great opportunity to network with vets before placements, and get to know older years too 😇

You can gain up to one week of CEMS from our events - it counts of 1 of your 13 free choice weeks.

The earlier in your studies you join, the better - you can avail of our cheaper returning members fee each year after and get a great deal on talks and the ball!

Full membership includes all talks (with snacks 🍕), our 3-day symposium, and our EVBA ball in March 💃🕺

There are partial membership options available but these don’t include the ball.
