A wonderful opportunity for two experienced, professional nannies to join a warm and welcoming private family in Birr, Co. Offaly.
👧 12-year-old girl
👦 8-year-old boy – non-verbal, with autism
👶 2-year-old
🍼 New baby due January 2027
The family are looking for two nannies to work on a 7-day rota, providing consistent childcare and support throughout the week.
⏰ 45 hours per week guaranteed
🏡 Separate accommodation available for the right candidate
✈️ Family travel during school holidays
🚗 Driver not essential, but a bonus
We are looking for someone who is:

🌟 Proactive and able to use their initiative
👶 Experienced with babies & newborns
🧩 Ideally experienced with autism/additional needs
🎨 Fun, energetic and creative with children
🤝 Comfortable working as part of a team
🌍 Flexible and happy to travel with the family
🇬🇧 Fluent English essential
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent childcare, following the children's routines, organising fun and educational activities, preparing healthy meals and snacks, supporting the parents and helping to create a happy, safe and stimulating environment for the children.
The family are looking for someone who will genuinely become part of the family, is reliable and professional, and who naturally sees what needs to be done without always needing direction.
There may occasionally be some overlap between the two nannies to support handovers, busy periods and family travel.
