We’re turning the page to an exciting new chapter! We are Simona and Sheena and we are thrilled to introduce ourselves as the new owner-managers of Merryvale! ✨🌈 While our old page was full of wonderful memories, this fresh start is all about creating even more amazing experiences together.

We had an amazing day for our Teddy bear's picnic and our last day before summer. For our senior children it was their last time in Merryvale before heading off on their next adventure BIG SCHOOL! We think our little caterpillars have turned into amazing butterflies and are ready to spread their wings. We hope they will come back and visit us in September! Thank you for allowing us the privilege to guide and support your children in this important time in their lives. Enjoy the summer!! ☀️🧸🐻☀️

In honor of one of our Montessori students Nora, a 5km run has been organised to raise funds for the Neurosurgery Department in Temple Street. Our very own Anne Marie will be taking part in this event. Nora and her brother Daithí have been a big part of Merryvale the last 2 years and any support for this cause would be greatly appreciated ⭐🐰

Our Montessori children in Merryvale are very excited for our concert tomorrow! Theres been lots of chat about our senior children moving to their next adventure in big school! We talked about how how everyone is getting bigger and we invited the children to paint what they would like to be when they grow up! We had lots of interesting replies such as a policeman, a mammy, a fireman, a butterfly or a witch! We look forward to welcoming you tomorrow!

All 5 of our butterflies had finally emerged from their cocoons and they were ready to fly away on their next adventure! We were lucky we had a sunny morning and the childern got to say "bye bye and good luck!" to our little friends! 🦋☀️🦋☀️

Happy Father's Day to all of the fathers and grandfathers! Our Montessori children made some beautiful cards to show their dads how much they love them ❤️ Hope you all have a great day!

Our caterpillars are still safe and sound inside their chrysalis and the children (and parents!) are checking each morning to see if theres any change. We are all so excited to see the butterflies when they finally emerge and the children created some beautiful artwork in anticipation. Can you spot your little butterflies in their colourful masks?

Exciting news! Over the last 24 hours our little caterpillars have climbed to the top of the jar and they are now in their chrysalis and have began their transformation. We added an extension to our inset work and the children have been inspired to make some beautiful butterfly insets 🦋

There has been great excitement this week as our 5 little caterpillar friends arrived in Merryvale! The Montessori children have named them Cutie, Fooey, Fuzzy, Ellie and Jumpy! They've grown so much this week already and the children are checking them everyday to see their progress. Both groups are looking forward to watching their amazing transformation over the next few weeks! 🦋🦋

Our theme last week was dinosaurs. The children were fascinated by all of the different shapes, sizes and colours of the dinosaurs in school. Here’s a selection of photos to show our work and art 🦕🦖

Our Afterschoolers having fun in the sun this afternoon!

Lots of fun in the sun this morning. The sun was shining so we took the opportunity to go for a walk around our area. We stopped to smell the flowers and chased a butterfly through the field. We went roly poly down the hill and played ring a rosie together. We came back to school and had a picnic in the garden!
