There’s no one-size-fits-all approach at Metro Music School. Our teachers get to know each student and shape every lesson around their interests, ability and goals.

Want to learn Oasis? Brilliant. Want to nail a classic rock riff? Go for it. Want to work towards music exams? We can do that too.

We offer 1-to-1 and group music lessons in guitar, piano, electric guitar, bass and violin, taught in our newly renovated music rooms at Metro Music, upstairs in Rathfarnham Shopping Centre.

Whether you’re a complete beginner picking up an instrument for the first time, or you’re looking to take your playing to the next level, our lessons are all about learning the music you love.

The aim is simple: learn something new, enjoy the process and leave every lesson feeling like you can play a little more than you could before.

The end of an era... 🎶

After more than 30 years in the heart of Rathfarnham Shopping Centre, Metro is closing its doors.

We just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has supported the shop over the years. So many friendships, memories and great musicians have come through these doors, and we’re incredibly grateful to have been part of this amazing community.

A huge congratulations to our dad, Sean, on his retirement. Metro has been his life for over three decades, and nobody deserves a break more than he does!

While this chapter is closing, the story isn’t over just yet. We’re proud to be taking over the family business and can’t wait to share what’s coming next.

Thank you for 30+ years of music, memories and support. ❤️🎸🎵
