🌳 National Tree Week 2026 takes place from Sunday 8th March to Sunday 15th March 2026! 🌳
🌱 Cork County Council is inviting schools, community groups, and organisations to plant a native Irish tree and celebrate our rich natural heritage. Up to 1,200 free trees will be available with species such as Alder, Common Birch, Pedunculate Oak, Rowan, Scots Pine, Silver Birch, Hazel and Whitethorn and the trees are available in bundles of 10 per tree type.
During National Tree Week, community groups, organisations and schools are invited to organise or participate in events throughout the week, including tree planting, woodland walks, workshops, and more.
🌳 Trees are allocated on a first‑come, first‑served basis.
