The Craft2Success workshop in Belgium brought together 10 migrant women for an inspiring experience focused on learning, collaboration, and creativity.

Throughout the workshop, participants explored how traditional crafts can become pathways to personal and economic empowerment. They gained valuable insights into digital skills, entrepreneurship, and opportunities to promote their handmade creations to wider audiences.

🧵🎨 The highlight of the workshop was the hands-on creative session, where the women worked together on handmade products, sharing techniques, ideas, and cultural traditions. From 21–25 May, women artisans in Estonia participated in the Craft2Success local workshops, a three-day learning journey designed to help transform creative talents into sustainable business opportunities.

💡 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟏: 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐕𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞, 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝

Participants explored the power of storytelling and brand identity, discovering how personal stories can strengthen their brands and connect with customers. Through practical activities, they mapped their unique journeys and learned smartphone photography, visual content creation, and photo editing techniques to build a professional digital presence.

📱 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐: 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐬 & 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡 – 𝐖𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

The focus shifted to digital tools and technologies that support artisans in today's marketplace. Participants learned about digital identity, mobile apps, online marketing, and how to use e-commerce platforms such as Etsy and Shopify to showcase their products and reach wider audiences.

🛍️ 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟑: 𝐄-𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐬

The final day introduced the fundamentals of online selling, including product descriptions, uploading products to online platforms, and simple marketing strategies. Participants also reflected on future opportunities and how to continue growing their businesses beyond the workshop.

Throughout the sessions, women gained practical knowledge, shared experiences, and built confidence in using digital tools to promote their work and tell the stories behind their crafts.

During the month of May, Adolescere organised a series of workshops within the framework of the Craft2Success Erasmus+ project, bringing together 10 women from Syria 🇸🇾, Sudan 🇸🇩, and Ethiopia 🇪🇹 in a dynamic and empowering learning environment. 🤝💡

📚 The theoretical sessions focused on Digital Marketing, E-commerce, and Innovation, providing participants with valuable knowledge on how to promote products and services online 🌐, explore digital business opportunities 🚀, and develop entrepreneurial skills 💼 in an increasingly digital world.

🧵🎨 To complement the learning experience, participants also took part in practical workshops where they created handmade lavender bags 💜 and wheat grain bags 🌾, developing crafting skills while exploring how traditional handmade products can be transformed into potential income-generating opportunities 💰✨.

🌈 The workshops combined creativity, entrepreneurship, and social inclusion, encouraging participants to gain new competences 📈, share experiences 🤗, and build confidence 💪 in their personal and professional journeys.

Beyond skills development, the workshops fostered a strong sense of collaboration, confidence, and knowledge-sharing among participants from diverse backgrounds.
