📚Food for (Research)Thought today at MIE’s Annual Research Symposium!

Today, colleagues from across departments shared research spanning Irish-medium education, play-based learning, literacy, education policy, AI, cultural learning spaces, GAA and Education’sTheology .

The symposium provided an opportunity to celebrate the diverse research taking place across the Institute, exchange ideas and strengthen research collaborations over coffee.

A big thank you to all presenters, attendees and MIE Research Office who made the day such a success.

📚 Marino Institute recently launched “Research Report 1” from the “Playful Mathematics in Senior Primary Classrooms” Study.

Reflections from 30 participating primary school pupils reinforced a key message from this playful, mathematical research: the challenge is not to prove the value of playful mathematics, but to make it possible within every classroom.

Míle Buíochas to our researchers, , and to all visitors who joined us for such fruitful reflections le chéile.
