Taney Playschool

Unfortunately our lovely Playschool is no longer financially viable so we will be closing our doors for the last time on 28th June. Very sad that ECCE only preschools are closing down all around the country for the same reason. It has been an honour to educate the littlies and meet so many amazing families since I started in Taney Playschool in 2013. To see the changes in children over their 2 years with us has been wonderful and a testament to the child led play based curriculum that I’m so passionate about. Thank you to all the families who have entrusted their precious children to us and for their support in trying to save our service.

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown Sports Partnership in collaboration with the SportsAbility Forum, are delighted to host a SportsAbility Information Day on the 26th May in Gaelscoil Shliabh Rua, Ballyogan Road from 3-5pm. 📌
As part of this free event, attendees can participate in ‘Come & Try’ sessions in a range of different sports on the day, including archery, rugby, lawn bowls, rowing, tennis, GAA & table cricket to name just a few. ⚽️🎾🏹🏏🪀

We here in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown Sports Partnership had a busy 2023, with over 12,000 people engaged with throughout the year across a range of targeted initiatives. 🎯
This included sport and physical activity programmes for all ages, abilities and interests as well as training courses and workshops grants. We commit to continue to develop and provide activity opportunities for all, increase awareness of opportunities across the county and provide funding/supports to develop sustainable participation initiatives. 🏃🚶‍♀️👩‍🦽⚽️🏀🏏🏹🥍⛳️🥊🛼🚣🏊‍♂️
