Trip to the zoo for our Explorers today . What a day for it

Making the most of this glorious weather . Downing lots of time in our lovely garden and also trips to the playground.

Memory from when our Explorers class won the Early Childhood Ireland Inspired Practice Award. This class is for year 2 ECCE children . It's totally different from year one. We have a max of 12 children in each class with two teachers. This allows us to take the children on lots of outings. They include trips to the library, to the zoo to attend a special Dinosaur Explorer class, Go kids go, Silly Billy's to name but a few. This class had such a great impact on the children that we opened a second class.

Small Steps Montessori & Afterschool Care Providers We provide care for children aged two years and six months to 14 years. Services include breakfast club and Afterschool for school aged children and preschool (ECCE) and part time care from 2.6 years to 6 years. We also provide out of term camps.

We have a few places left for our ECCE class commencing September 2026. Preschool children eligible for ECCE can avail of part time care for €114.40 per month including their NCS deduction. This fee may be lower depending on your NCS subsidy.This means children can stay from 8.45am to 1.45pm daily.
