Very busy 30 days ahead for us! Performances for schools in Offaly, Meath; public performances of 'MacBeth' (including evening shows & matinée) in the North star hotel on Sunday 3rd and Monday 4th of February, which is set to be a great night! tickets are €10 with a special rate for students of €5 - and a run in the 5 lamps theatre festival, dates TBC. Keep an eye out for upcoming 'open mike night', everyone is welcome to attend and everyone is welcome to perform an act.. whatever it is!! it will be held in Q bar, date to be announced soon. There will be spot prizes and a panel of judges with prizes for best act. The bar will be open till late and there are some good promos to look out for! :)

Well so begins another year! and loads of work to do, we are looking to a put a whole team together in need people in the area of sales. marketing and a variety of theatrical practices (acting, backround, stage management...etc) - some positions are paid and some are for experience, anyone interested?

We are currently casting for casting for 'Wuthering Heights' and 'MacBeth' if anyone is interested let us know.

A+Performances is a theatre company in its second year of operation . It was launched in August 2011 with the objective of delivering a truly unique and unforgettable experience for students preparing for their English Leaving Certificate. We produce the main play on the curriculum and bring the production to the school itself with the agenda of making the entire production as hassle free as possible from a schools point of view.

Last year our company launched with ‘Hamlet’ and staged the play to a handful of schools across the country. We deliver a truly unique and effective learning tool to the students through our clever incorporation of multi-media techniques and interaction with the students.

For our 2012/2013 run, we have decided to expand our scope and have launched ‘Naked Canvas’ (in association with A+Performances) with a staging of ‘Wuthering Heights’ in a central Dublin theatre , anticipated for the Christmas period.
Following this we will be back on the road in the new year touring schools with a production of ‘MacBeth’. We do our very best in ensuring all main themes and aspects of play are highlighted and enhanced for the students to go away with a powerful insight into their Leaving Cert play.
