✨What we do?✨

Columbus Club is 10 years in existence. It’s a Club for children aged between 3 to 12. 👶🏻👧🏻👦🏻👱🏻‍♀️
We are passionate about developing each child’s imagination and allowing them to create and achieve success after success in terms of “doing” and learning. Also, we combine an abundance of opportunities to develop both right hand side and left hand side.🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
💡By developing the right hand side of the brain, creativity and creative thinking are greatly enhanced. By developing the left hand side of the brain, logical and analytical skill sets are fostered and developed.
💡Our aim is to establish Columbus Club as a “go to” Club for children all year round, including online classes and workshops as well as providing a meaningful resource for parents during these formative years of their child’s development.

✨Why we called Columbus Club?✨

Columbus Club’s underlining philosophy is based on the concepts of learning, exploring and developing. 🧐
As with Christopher Columbus🏃, the explorer who was passionate about exploring the world, Columbus Club encourages every child to explore their world. As an explorer, he made wonderful discoveries and learned so much on his journey. 🌍🌏
Columbus Club encourages each child to go on their own voyage of discovery by exploring the wonderful world of books 📖; the creative world of art👩‍🏭, animation and culinary; the dynamic world of technology, computing👩‍💻, science, chess and maths; and the ever fascinating world of film 🎥 , cinema and script writing ✍️ , as well as the literary world of languages.
We provides a wide array of opportunities and activities in each of these disciplines, so children can learn, explore and develop from the wonderful world around them. 🥰🥰

📣📣Notification📣📣
Hello, everyone, we hope you all have a good time during this pandemic.
We originally planned to start Teenage Summer Courses and Workshops from 8th June. However, due to the Covid-19 restriction policy, the first venue, Booterstown Pastoral Parish Centre, cancelled our venue rental. We tried to find other places, but due to policy influences, there were no places that could be used. Therefore, all activities at Booterstown Pastoral Parish Centre in June had to be cancelled. All members of the Columbus Club are very sad and sorry for this decision.😭😭

The cancelled activities are as follows:
👉2 Week Irish Summer Course
Tuesday, 8th June - Friday, 18th June
👉Spanish Course
Monday, 21st June - Friday, 25th June
👉Workshop A : Photography
Tuesday, 8th June - Friday, 11th June
👉Workshop B : Animation & Art/Illustration Work
Monday, 14th June - Friday, 18th June
👉Workshop C : Film & Cinematography
Monday, 21st June - Friday 25th June

🔔All activities at The Teresian School Donnybrook D4 will be held as scheduled starting June 28. Please follow our page and Instagram account for the latest news. Feel free to contact us and send us message. Thank you. ❤️💙
