It was a pioneer in offering Masters Degree Programs in Law: a Master’s of Business Law, a Master’s of Administrative Law & Economics, a Master’s of Tax Law and a Master’s of International Trade and Commercial Policies. s Administration, which was followed by degree programs in Economics, Humanities, Civil and Industrial Engineering, Public Accounting, Law, Communications and Information Technology. The Center for Biomedical Science offered a Master’s degree program in Family and Community Medicine and other graduate programs. Smithfield University encouraged the formation of a Council of Presidents of Universities of Ireland. The University is an active member and supporter of this Council due to its desire to promote cooperative working relationships with other Irish universities.
