🏆 Senior Boys Make History 🏆
Well done to our Senior Boys team who produced a dominant display to defeat 5–1, securing the first-ever football trophy in Hansfield’s history. A truly special day for the school and a moment these lads will never forget.
Ronac Rajan opened the scoring, Craig McQuillan added the second, before Brian Mbunga struck for the third to put Hansfield firmly in control. McQuillan then completed a superb second-half hat-trick, earning him a deserved Man of the Match award.
Captains Keith Teigo and Paul Warren proudly lifted the regional trophy, marking a historic achievement for the football squad.
This is a fantastic group of lads who have worked incredibly hard all year, and coach Padraig Gallagher was immensely proud of the performance, commitment, and character shown throughout the campaign.
We now progress to the Leinster Champions League — history made, and the journey continues. 💜💚⚽️

TY students recently took part in a Fingal Skills Strategy pilot session delivered in partnership with
We were delighted to welcome Sharon to the school to facilitate this session, encouraging students to think critically about their career choices and the value of work, education, attitude and experience in making informed decisions about their future pathways.
The session highlighted the wide range of opportunities available across Fingal, showcasing how different skills and talents are needed across many sectors. It also encouraged students to reflect on where they might fit into the bigger picture as they plan their next steps.

A massive thank you to for making the trek to us and giving us a great game! We wish them all the best going forward. A special thank you needs to go out to our 1st year kit sponsors, Jill O'Neil School of Dance

The school will host an online information seminar on subject choice for Senior Cycle on Wednesday 28th Jan 7-8pm for 3rd & TY parents. This is a very important event and we urge all to attend as the students will be making some very important decisions around subject choice for the Leaving Cert soon. Parents of students progressing to TY or LCA need not attend.
This week in Eoin’s 3rd year Science class they were covering the topic of Ecology. Students set up a micro habitat to show how organisms adapt to their environment. Students collected woodlouse specimens from outside the school and materials to set up a dry wood habitat,a stone, dried leaves and a damp wood area. The wood lice were placed in the tray and students observed which habitat the woodlouse settled in after 24 hours! Out of the 10 woodlice, 9 of them were found in the damp wood area of the tray. No woodlice were harmed during the investigation😀😀

Today, the u16 Hansfield ETSS girls basketball team played in their first ever Leinster Cup Final. Unfortunately, the outcome was not what the girls wanted but the girls held their heads high knowing that they won their regional with both u16 & u19 girls being promoted to Div C next year. Hansfield could not be prouder of the girls achievement. This group of girls are the first Hansfield female sports team to win a regional and bring back hardware to the school in any sport. Next year, these girls will be bringing the heat to Div C. They are true leaders and have set the bar for all female sports teams going forward. We are so proud of all that you girls have achieved.
Leinster Cup Final Score:
Hansfield ETSS - 47
St. Mary’s Edenderry - 56
