It’s a strange one today....normally on Fridays I am posting up happy Friday memes and we are all excited for the weekend🤔. Things are a bit different today; you may feel a sense of the days rolling into one now and not feel there is a change from weekdays into weekend.
So I do hope you will consider this your Friday...that you will maybe teach less or not at all and try to have some downtime and maybe even fun time at home. Treat it as the weekend💜🌸🍃🎶🍷☕️📚
If you are feeling demotivated and then all of a sudden motivated again, if you are feeling one minute you are managing 🙂 and the next you are overwhelmed☹️...please know that this is perfectly normal considering the circumstances we are all in. Our brains are attempting to process it all, and the goalposts keep shifting on top of that.
Also, as I said earlier in the week, there are so many self-care tips out there now and so many ideas to be creative; but if you feel you can’t do any of those today, that’s ok! Just rest, maybe meditate if you can, make a cuppa and reset yourself. For the first time, we have to go with the flow not knowing what’s next so try to give yourself a break...you are doing your best ♥️

A new reality we are living in...for now anyway. It will pass but for the moment, fears may be running rife which isn’t good for any of us, mentally, emotionally or physically (remember your immune system needs you to return to that calm set-point again and again in order to remain strong).
And so it will help us to acknowledge these worrying thoughts as they arise and then gently and with compassion, shift our mindset even slightly in order to curb the worries.
It might be a good one to share for your family and friends too. Hope everyone is doing ok 🙏🏼♥️
