Training 4-5 times per week is possible, most people 3 is the sweet spot.
Being crippled all the time, doesn't mean progress. Progress is a simple fact of consistency & slightly progressing weight & Conditioning.
You still need to be able to function the following day, for work, family, kids and life in general.

Proper nutrition & recovery will help excel this.

But there are a few who like crippling people and being crippled ðŸĪĢðŸĪĢðŸĪĢ

Discipline builds the foundation and provides the structure.

Focus directs that structure toward the goal.

Consistency ensures that the structure remains standing over time, leading to lasting results.

WITHOUT motivation, you may never start
WITHOUT discipline, you will wander
WITHOUT consistency & focus, you will never see lasting change.

Im constantly saying the same thing, week in week out. Sometimes nicely, sometimes bluntly, saying it nicely sometimes doesn't resonate and bluntly sometimes rubs people up the wrong way.

But at the end of the day, its down to those 4 things. Put the work in, see the results 💊 😎 🙌

Winning is getting to bed at 9pm, little re-reading, Just to freshen the mind 😃

Without sounding annoying 😀

Technique takes Consistency
Progressing weight takes Consistency
Trying to get good at something takes Consistency

Putting in the work, learning the craft, breaking down the movements to understand them better, doing the stuff people won't do...

The when it gets hard, your Discipline kicks in and your Consistency stays, otherwise you're not going to improve and you've no hope in winning!!!

Be Disciplined enough to stay consistent!!!

Its up to you!!!

One thing we've noticed over the years, everyone watches everyone....

Oh I wanna be like her, so ill train like she is...
Oh I wanna be like her, do ill get my trainer to add in what shes doing...
Oh they haven't put up a post/story in a while is she still training there...

Oh I wanna be like him, so ill lift like him..
Oh I wanna be like him, so ill train 5/6 days a week...

Oh im not seeing results, after 6wks, ill stop and doing something else, they don't know what they're doing...

They don't see the 11yrs of consistency, 11yrs of trying, failing and getting back up to give it another go, 11yrs of injuries, I should be able to do this, why cant I??

Until one day you can and realise,
its CONSISTENCY AND DISCIPLINE!!!

Some people bang on about functional strength, but what is functional strength?

To me, functional strength is having the ability to make your day to day life easier, physically & mentally!!!

Squatting = Being able to get up off a seat when youre 70

Shoulder pressing = Being able to put your carry on suitcase in the over bin on a plane or put the shopping away in the cupboard

Farmer carries = Being able to carry the shopping home

Deadlift = Being able to pick your kids or partner up off the ground if they fall

Hip Thrusts = Ill let you figure that one out ðŸĪĢðŸĪŠðŸĪĢ💊

Focus on yourself!!!
Consistency!!!
Discipline!!!
Old boring basic workouts work!!

But they are not sexy so some coaches appeal to fancy workouts to catch people's attention, all the while they train differently to get themselves in shape!!!

Basic weight training = as old as time
Calisthenics = as old as time
Fighting (most sports)= as old as time
Kettlebell= '000s of years
Mace/Gada = 000s of years
Yoga = '000s of years
Pilates = 100 yesrs
